Dora’s cottage is located in Malinmore, Glencolumbkille on the spectacular Slieve League Peninsula. The village is surrounded by mountains, lakes, rocky sea cliffs, wildlife and sandy beaches.
Dora’s cottage is a short distance from Malinmore pier and has beautiful coastal walks. The cottage has been lovingly restored and in keeping with the charm of an old cottage style. All the modern day comforts of WiFi, Netflix, oil central heating and modern bathroom make for a comfortable stay.
The space
Dora’s cottage has been lovingly restored with its original windows, stone walls and gardens. The cottage is spacious, cosy and warm. After a day of sightseeing, hillwalking or attending Oideas Gael ilIrish language course, come back to Dora’s Cottage and light the fire.

Dora’s Cottage has a large garden of shrubs, trees and wild flowers. It is suitable for children to play in. There is a set of goals and a wide open space for playing. The back and front garden have a beautiful view of the wild Atlantic Ocean.

You will awake to a view of the hill which is the back of the magnificent Slieve League cliffs. We have planted native trees and shrubs and keep areas wild for natural diversity. The surrounding area is peaceful with sounds of local sheep and chirping birds. After a stay in Glencolumbkille the memories, the peaceful setting and charm of the area will make you come back again 🍀
