At 1757 meters above sea level, Pampeago is located in the center of the Ski Center Latemar, at the foot of the famous Coral Mountain, a realm of ancient legends (the famous Latemar dolls).
Around the town we recommend a visit to Varena, one of the oldest villages in the valley, famous in the nineteenth century for the healthy hay baths with aromatic herbs and for the typical monolithic porphyry fountains.
Also not to be missed is a visit to the Via Stava that leads to Tesero, where it is possible to visit some of the characteristic Fiemmesi houses, such as Casa Peterli, an example of an old rural house with a hut roof.
