TOURIST TAX
Starting from 1 May, the tourist tax will come into force in the Municipality of Roseto Capo Spulico, a contribution intended for the improvement of tourist services and hospitality in the area.
💶 Payment methods:
The tax will be collected manually upon arrival at the facility, in cash, as required by municipal provisions.
📅 Amounts and periods:
January – May 1,00 per guest per night
June – September 1.50 per guest per night
October – December 1.00 per guest per night
The following are exempt from paying the tourist tax:
1. Minors under 10 years of age.
2. People with disabilities who are not self-sufficient, together with a companion.
3. Members of the police and rescue corps, specifically: o State and local police forces or bodies; o National Fire Brigade; o Civil Protection; as long as they stay for exclusive service needs.
4. Artists and guests who participate in cultural events or events organized or sponsored by the Municipal Administration.
5. Persons accommodated by measures of public authorities, in particular: o In situations of a social nature; o In cases of emergency due to calamitous or extraordinary events; o For humanitarian relief purposes.
6. Subjects with a lease contract exceeding the maximum duration provided for short-term rentals (pursuant to art. 4 of Legislative Decree no. 50 of 24 April 2017 and subsequent amendments).
7. Residents in the municipal area.
8. Managers of accommodation facilities, their family members, employees and collaborators who stay in the structure itself.
9. Bus drivers and tour leaders accompanying groups organized by travel and tourism agencies.
