HIGHLIGHTS

My favorite features of the home are the outdoor spaces. The front porch is delightful for having coffee during our spectacular Kentucky sunrise or a cold adult beverage in the evening. There are plenty of great spots to read, sit quietly, or take in the sounds of the birds and the hum of small-city life.

The back patio with a covered porch provides a space to spread out and relax under the twinkling lights and colorful, fun decor. During cooler weather, you can enjoy the fire pit and have a cocktail by the fire.

Please be courteous to our neighbors who also park their cars up next to the black fence. They are lovely people, and we hope you will respect our request.

HOW TO PARK
- Enter driveway
- Pull in and straight back toward the detached garage building on the right
- Pull all the way up to the tan fence
- YES, park in FRONT of the garage doors

Please park two cars parallel in front of the garage, carefully pulling all the way up to the end of the driveway so as not to block our neighbors in.

Do not park, stop, or BLOCK the Lower Driveway. If the driveway is ever blocked by guests prohibiting cars from entering or leaving the back lot, you will also probably be towed at your own expense.

The garage is inaccessible to guests. I appreciate guests being respectful to maintain peacefulness in this older quiet neighborhood. It is in a wonderful location close to many of Kentucky's fun attractions!

Neighborhood highlights

A nice residential street in historic downtown Georgetown, KY. The home is close to the college campus and within walking distance of our favorite restaurants, shopping, and pubs. Delightful Dudley Bungalow is about 6 miles, a quick scenic drive to the Alltech Arena and the Kentucky Horse Park.

If you plan to tour the Bourbon Trail or visit the ARK Encounter on your itinerary, we located about ten miles to access I-75 or Interstate 64. We are also central and a short drive to many of the distilleries and other fun experiences.

This is not your "typical" college town, and therefore, it is quiet, with many long-time neighbors on the street. No parties, gatherings, or events are allowed.

Fun fact: KY has more bourbon barrels than people.

I strive to create great experiences for guests because this is what I expect when traveling. I'm originally from Lexington, KY, but live and host in Georgetown, KY. I enjoy telling you more about the area, things to do, food for the foodie, and more about the home in video form on the gram @delightfuldudleybungalow or look us up on FB. Read our 5-star online reviews and descriptions to learn more! I'm an adventurous creative person with love for travel! I was born and raised with southern hospitality in my bones in Lexington, KY. After marrying my husband and moving here from Lexington, I fell in love with the charm and central location of Georgetown, KY, to all the best surrounding bigger cities. I know you will too. My husband Tim is a native of Georgetown, KY, and we joke that his retirement job will be as a tour guide hosting bourbon tours at Buffalo Trace. He is full of bourbon knowledge (not just popular ones), so if you need a hint or tip for where the coolest places to go are to improve your experience here, please do ask. To feed my creative side and help small business owners grow, I own a local design and marketing business, since 2001. I look forward to hosting many great guests like you, who I have no doubt will fall in love not only with the charm of Kentucky but our little Georgetown community. If you have any questions, please ask me. Tim and I are here to help you have a great visit and experience visiting our guest homes in Georgetown, KY.
