Complimentary Amenities:
* Private use of 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, and a canoe. A few life jackets are available, but we recommend bringing your own for the best fit. Use of all watercraft is at your own risk.

We kindly ask that you respect the property lines of our neighbours to ensure a peaceful stay for everyone.

Other things to note
*Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM sharp.

*Amenities: Guests are responsible for bringing their own bed sheets and towels. We provide pillows, comforters, and extra blankets. Linens can be rented for an additional fee upon request.

*Space: The children’s bedroom (with twin beds) lacks air conditioning and can get quite warm. We offer portable fans as a solution. Alternatively, a queen-size air mattress can be set up in the main living area if preferred.

*Supplies: We also provide a starter supply of essentials, including paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner.

*Deer Bay: This is not a swimming lake, we do our best to keep the weeds cleared around the dock area, and there is a sandy shallow entry point beside the dock which is suitable for small children. Deer Bay is known for its excellent fishing, boating, kayaking, water skiing, tubing etc. We recommend Sandy Lake Beach which is a short 10min drive from the cottage for optimal swimming conditions.

*Personal Watercrafts: You are more than welcome to bring your own boat, however you do need to let us know ahead of time, this includes Jet Skis. Launching your watercraft must be done off the property, we recommend Beachwood Resort.

*Age Suitability: Our cottage is not baby proofed, and is not suitable for toddlers (children under 5 years of age)

*Pets: One dog per stay is allowed, we do charge a minimal pet fee for their stay, this is done during the time of your booking. A few things to remember; please do not let your dog run freely beyond our property lines, always make sure they are on leash during walks. Please also remember to bring their pet beds, toys and pet dishes with you so they will be comfortable and enjoy their stay. As always, please remember to poop and scoop.

*Front Lawn (facing water): Due to natural underground springs, the front lawn may be wet and damp at times. We recommend bringing water shoes or Crocs for this area.

*Garbage & Recycling: All garbage must be put into clear bags only that we provide at the cottage. Unfortunately we cannot offer our guests recycling due to the complex rules from the township on how and what to recycle. Do not mix any recyclable items in with your garbage. We recommend storing your recycling materials in one of the clear garbage bags, you can then choose to take them to the dump (dump pass on fridge) or bring them home with you. Failure to adhere to these policies will result in a $60.00 charge to you.

*Cleaning fee: For stays 2 weeks or longer the cleaning fee is $210
