The space
Relax and unwind in our charming board-and-batten style cottage. The cozy living room, anchored by a stunning (decorative only) floor-to-ceiling brick fireplace, is perfect for relaxing evenings with comfy sofas, a TV, and a stereo.

The fully equipped kitchen features a new center island with a 4-burner cooktop, built-in oven, and dishwasher. The adjacent dining area offers seating for six. Stay connected with Starlink high-speed internet, perfect for streaming or remote work.

Both bathrooms were renovated in 2022 with new floors and vanities.

• Bedroom 2: Queen Bed
• Bedroom 3: Two Twin Beds

Guest access
Guests will have private access to the entire cottage and property, including the large deck and 36' dock. The only exception is the locked garage, which is not accessible.

Complimentary Amenities:
* Private use of 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, and a canoe. A few life jackets are available, but we recommend bringing your own for the best fit. Use of all watercraft is at your own risk.

We kindly ask that you respect the property lines of our neighbors to ensure a peaceful stay for everyone.

Other things to note
Check-in and check-out are flexible. Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM sharp.

Guests are responsible for bringing their own bed sheets and towels. We provide pillows, comforters, and extra blankets. Linens can be rented for an additional fee upon request.

The children’s bedroom (with twin beds) lacks air conditioning and can get quite warm. We offer portable fans as a solution. Alternatively, a queen-size air mattress can be set up in the main living area if preferred.

We also provide a starter supply of essentials, including paper towels, Kleenex, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner.

This is not a swimming lake, we do our best to keep the weeds cleared around the dock area, and there is a sandy shallow entry point beside the dock which is suitable for small children. Deer Bay is known for its excellent fishing, boating, kayaking, tubing etc. We recommend Sandy Lake Beach which is a short 10min drive from the cottage for optimal swimming conditions.

Our cottage is not baby proofed and is not suitable for toddlers.

Due to natural underground springs, the front lawn may be damp. We recommend bringing water shoes or Crocs for this area.

For those interested in boating, we have a 9.9 HP motorized fishing boat available for rent. The rental fee is $375 per week. Please note that this must be booked and paid for separately through Airbnb, and a signed waiver is required before use.
