Most Gatlinburg cabins pick a lane. This one has a personality. Dancing in the Moonshine is built around the two icons who put Tennessee music on the map — one bedroom full of glam, grace, and a little rhinestone shine, the other cozy and bold with all the Man-in-Black energy you'd expect. Whiskey barrel accents, real Southern character, and not a single piece of generic cabin decor in sight.

The hot tub is the part guests write home about. Tucked on the patio under the trees, it's the correct ending to a day on the slopes, on the trails, or walking the Parkway. The patio itself is big enough that nobody has to take turns — plenty of room for the whole group to spread out with coffee in the morning and something stronger at night.

Inside, everything is new. New furniture, new mattresses, new bed frames, new bedding. Four smart TVs mean the football watchers and the movie people can coexist, and the gas fireplace earns its keep from October straight through March. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances, cookware, and the essentials you'd actually reach for cooking a real dinner in.

Three bedrooms sleep six comfortably — a king, a queen, and a double — with a sleeper sofa in the living room bringing you to eight. Both bathrooms have walk-in showers and quality linens.

Location is the quiet advantage here. You're one mile from Ober Gatlinburg, which means ski slopes in winter and mountain biking and the tramway in summer, all without a drive. Downtown Gatlinburg is three miles down the mountain — close enough that dinner is an easy decision, far enough that you're not sleeping over the Parkway traffic. And because you're in the neighborhood, your stay includes access passes to three community pools, three clubhouses, two game rooms, and a fitness center, all open through the summer season.

A few honest notes so there are no surprises: These are mountain roads — winding, with elevation, exactly like the song promises. AWD or 4WD is strongly recommended in winter. We don't refund for weather, so travel insurance is worth considering for winter stays. Bears are genuinely common up here: lock your car, don't leave food outside, and use the bear-proof cans. The neighborhood pools are seasonal, open Memorial Day through Labor Day only. And we provide starter supplies to get you going — longer stays should plan on a run to the Chalet Village Market just down the road.

Guest access
You will have the entire property all to yourself. Access is by keypad smart lock and your personal access code for your stay will be provided at least 48 hours prior to check in.

Other things to note
Just a quick heads up, as also stated in our house rules, we have a simple, personalized rental agreement for you to sign within 48 hours of booking. Please click the link provided in your confirmation message from us to review and sign before check-in. It’s nothing scary, just a little housekeeping to keep everything smooth and stress-free. Note: check in information won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Let us know if you have any questions—we’re happy to help! :)

You can rest easy knowing your stay is covered with $1,500 in "All-Risk" damage protection. Although rare, accidental damage from guests does happen. Traditionally, this was managed via a security deposit or vacation rental damage insurance purchased by the guest. Both are cumbersome and often have limitations in protection. With "all-risk" protection, all accidental damage from a guest is covered unless it's specifically excluded such as, normal wear and tear, infestation, or prior damage. This is covered under a $35 management fee included in the transaction for your stay. Relax and enjoy your stay!! It's vacation time, so enjoy it with the peace of mind knowing that if an accident happens and damage occurs, you are protected under Waivo!

CABIN ROADS

To ensure a smooth and safe stay, please be aware of the following:

The roads to the cabin are paved but are steep and winding, which is typical for the area. The road to cabin is paved but does have some narrow and tight turns -- please use caution. *** Two wheel drive vehicles are okay, but during snow and winter months, Four wheel drive is recommended.

HOT TUB POLICY:

Our hot tub amenity is provided for use during your stay and the water has been treated prior to your arrival to ensure it is correctly balanced.

Hot tubs pose similar risks to swimming pools, as well as having their own dangers. Here are
some hot tub safety rules that everyone should be aware of before using the tub:

1. The tub is to be used responsibly and is not to be used as a substitute wading pool by children. Allowing children to jump or dive into the water is not permitted under any circumstances. Children must not use the spa unsupervised at any time. No infants or toddlers in the spa.

2. Please shower before using the tub to remove lotion, make-up, sun-screen, insect repellent or any other oil-based products.

3. Only clean swimwear may be worn in the tub as the chemicals in the water will remove the
colored dyes found in ordinary clothing, causing them to leach into the water and turn it
cloudy.

4. Prevent accidental drowning. Leave the hot tub cover on and latched when the spa is unsupervised.

5. Prevent Hyperthermia. Understand that alcohol and other medications greatly increase the
chance of hyperthermia – the opposite of hypothermia. This occurs when the internal body
temperature reaches several degrees above the normal temperature of 98.6 degrees.

6. Do not use any glass near the hot tub. Don’t do it, ever. Trust us.

7. Do not use a hot tub if you are taking any medication that makes you drowsy or affects your
circulation; if necessary, check with your doctor. Pregnant women and the elderly should also consult their doctor before using a hot tub.

8. Do not use the hot tub if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs as your judgment
will be impaired and you could become unconscious and drown.

9. No smoking is permitted in or around the tub.

10. People with cuts or external infections should not use the tub.

Overuse or abuse will also cause the tub water to turn cloudy and may render the tub unusable.

Tubs that require excessive cleaning will be emptied and cleaned at the expense of the renter, and may deny you the use of the tub for at least 24-hours. All of our hot tubs are on a regular cleaning schedule. On rare occasions, you may not be able to use the tub for a short time after it has been serviced. We apologize for this inconvenience, but it is necessary to keep the tubs sanitized.

CONSUMABLES & TOILETRIES

We provide a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, and detergent. If you have a large group or are staying for an extended period, you may need to purchase (or bring) additional items.

FIREPLACE

The fireplace is unavailable April 1st - October 1st (standard for cabins in the area).

Your stay is personal to us. Our family is travel obsessed and we've spent eight years curating homes we'd want to stay in ourselves — chic city spots, peaceful cabins, treehouses, beach retreats — each one designed with comfort, style, and all the little details that make a big difference. With hundreds of guests hosted and counting, we've learned that the best stays happen when every part of the experience is looked after. That's what we show up to do, every time.
