Dalrose Retreat is one of Gippsland's most popular luxury rural retreats.

Designed and built around the 160 year old original homestead chimneys and utilising bricks and timbers from the original homestead, you won’t find another property quite like it.

However, the real beauty exists outside with lush paddocks, mountain views, the rail trail and the freedom to relax, restore and renew at your doorstep.

The space
The property has been custom designed and built for guests to enjoy.

Come inside through the carport or large entry through the alfresco.

Once inside, the large living space and kitchen greets you, and the hand-crafted redgum staircase and pendant will catch your eye.

Did we mention you can buy local products from our amazing producers from our retreat? The artwork is also created by local artists and available for purchase - WE LOVE LOCAL.

The master suite with its luxurious ensuite is also on the ground floor, along with a separate toilet and laundry.

Upstairs you'll arrive in the cozy lounge leading to the sunset viewing balcony, as well as two bedrooms and a bathroom.

The alfresco area is approximately one third of the size of the property! Needless to say, it has ample room to relax on the lounge, or enjoy a meal and take in the view of the Victorian High Country mountain range. Two double sided open brick chimneys are the heroes of this space - both are functioning and available for use.

All bedrooms have options to reconfigure beds if required. E.g. King beds split to king singles, and single beds and trundles can reconfigure to kings. All you have to do is ask!

The retreat and surrounding fenced property is yours to enjoy. As a working beef farm, our cattle health and wellbeing and farm bio-security is of utmost importance to us, therefore access to all other areas of the farm is strictly prohibited unless otherwise clearly signposted. Please contact us if you wish to access another part of the property, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

This is a working beef farm - the real deal. We're sometimes at the property moving cattle or working at the cattle yards (you can see the cattle yards in the distance from the balcony, so they're not close to the retreat). Trucks and other vehicles might also use the driveway to access the farm. Please be assured that your privacy is of utmost importance to us, and there will be no access by other parties to the designated retreat area.
