The space
Dal Mare Villa has three floors and three bedrooms to sleep 10+ guests and includes outdoor terraces, parking and laundry, all just steps to the Adriatic Sea.
Our main living space includes our primary bedroom we call the Captains Quarter's with one queen bed (sleeps 2). This room is right off the kitchen, dining and main living room. The living room has a full size fold out futon (sleeps 1 adult or 2 kids). Our cozy third floor loft called the Crow's Nest has one queen, one twin and one toddler crib (sleeps 3 adults, plus a baby).
The private lower-level suite is called the Salt Cove. It has its's own private bathroom and it's own entrance. It opens right out to the sea, and has one queen bed and two twins (sleeps 4.)
Air Conditioning and Heat
All bedrooms include air conditioning and external shutters to darken the room if needed. The villa also has heat and is pleasant year around if you are considering a winter date.
Outdoor Terraces and BBQ
Our property has two outdoor terraces overlooking the water—perfect for morning coffee, sunset dinners, or stargazing. The main terrace has a traditional Croatian wood fired barbecue called a komin where you can have a peka. Our chef's kitchen is fully stocked and ready for entertaining.
Other Amenities
The villa has laundry, a parking spot for one vehicle, air conditioning, spa bathrobes, kayak, and we are pet friendly and family friendly.

About WiFi
WiFi has only recently been added to our property. We always used this as a private retreat from the world with no WiFi and no tv - BUT we want our guests to have the option so we added WiFi and televisions. Be advised that currently, WiFi is available in the main living and kitchen area. We will be doing some minor construction in the future to ensure WiFi is available throughout the property. Original 400 year old stone walls are charming and beautiful but not great for WiFi.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire villa during their stay. Dal Mare Villa is a private standalone home - no shared spaces, no interruptions. Enjoy full use of the chef's kitchen, all bedrooms, living, dining, laundry, terraces, and outdoor areas including a stone barbecue and direct access to the sea. It is your own private retreat on the Adriatic.
There are some locked cabinets and a utility room that is for exclusive use of the owner.
Other things to note
Dal Mare Villa is a historic stone home and the main living area is accessed via steep stone steps. The property sits directly on the Adriatic Sea, where the water is deep just outside of the door - while we personally bring our own young children here, the home is not baby-proofed and parents should be cautious.
Please note: the villa is in a remote area, and currently uses a cistern water system. Water is safe for basic use (short showers and washing dishes and clothes), but we recommend boiling or using bottled water for drinking. Public water access is expected in the coming years.
