Unit Configuration: Parrot's Perch is a two-unit house offering a variety of rental options for flexibility and convenience. This is the upper unit ("Oceanfront"), available independently for those who wish to enjoy expansive views and exclusive pool access. When booking the upstairs unit, the downstairs unit will be unoccupied. Guests also have the option to book the entire house ("Villa") which also includes the lower unit ("Lower Nest") to accommodate larger groups. Pool access remains exclusive to guests renting either the upper unit alone or the whole house, ensuring a private and luxurious experience.
Electricity Usage: Our nightly rate includes a generous daily electricity allowance of 25kWh, sufficient for approximately 8-12 hours of air conditioning daily. The property is equipped with an electric meter for easy monitoring. Please note that electricity consumption above this allowance is $0.44/kWh and will be charged during checkout. We encourage mindful energy use to enhance sustainability and avoid additional charges.
Internet Connectivity: Our property offers a robust internet connection with speeds of 100Mbps download and 25Mbps upload. While the internet in Curaçao is generally reliable, guests using the internet for video conferencing should be aware that there may be occasional, brief interruptions. For those requiring uninterrupted online access, we recommend securing a backup cellular data plan from local providers such as Flow or DigiCell. Additionally, using a service like Speedify can enhance your connectivity by seamlessly transitioning to a backup connection in the rare event of a hiccup.
