🚗 Access & Important Notes:
-You’ll have full private access to the home and outdoor areas – no shared spaces.
-The driveway is rough. We had to dig through the driveway to run water from the well to the house. Please be aware of the well — it's the giant metal pipe sticking up out of the ground on your left-hand side as you come up the driveway.
- Winter travel: The gravel driveway may require AWD/4x4 during snowy, heavy rain or icy conditions. Tire chains are recommended in winter months for safety.
-The cabin’s forest location means you may encounter harmless insects (flies, ladybugs, stink bugs, wasps). Keep doors and windows closed to reduce them indoors.
-Firewood, charcoal, condiments (oil, salt & pepper) not included

🚗 Heads-up: Our gravel driveway ends at the firepit area – that’s the limit of property access. The South Fork River is a short 5-minute drive away (not walkable).
Other things to note
Shenandoah South Fork Rive is 500mts away from property, short drive. It's not walking distance or private access
Regular pest control is performed, but because the cabin is surrounded by woods near Shenandoah National Park, you may encounter insects both outdoors and occasionally indoors. The most common are flies, stink bugs, ladybugs, and sometimes wasps. These insects are harmless and more of a nuisance than a threat. For comfort, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed to minimize their presence inside.
