A truly unique river experience - more like a large, luxury apartment on the water than a houseboat.

Permanently moored right on the spectacular river side part of the Murray River at the peaceful Riverglen Marina, just south of Murray Bridge - only 45 minutes from Adelaide.
Perfect for 2 to 6 people.

The space
Cristal is a 3 bedroom floating accommodation with plenty of glass surrounding the whole boat to allow for great views when you sit back and watch the river drift past.

Full length views down one side from dining to kitchen through to the lounge, and even better views from the top viewing deck.
Very well presented modern accommodation – perfect for entertaining friends and family.

Upstairs is a second glass enclosed lounge, with huge sliding doors that can be opened to let fresh air in and access to the spacious top deck and outstanding views.

Experience the river life floating amongst rising mist as the pelicans and ducks go past, or keep an eye out skywards as the whistling kites search for their next meal.

There are two outside security cameras facing towards the shore away from the boat (towards the carpark and the main entrance only), to ensure the safety of the boat and to abide by the Marina rules.

Other things to note
Pets are allowed only with an extra fee of $100 AUD to be charged after your stay if the pets leave the place too messy.
We would appreciate it if your dog doesn't sleep on or in the bed especially if they are prone to shredding lots of fur - if they do please take every precaution to minimise dog hair being left in the bedding e.g. BYO dog bed or bring a blanket for them to sleep on.

The marina has basic rules around dogs:
1) please pick up after your dog - we have supplied some bags on board to assist (bins with yellow lids are used for all rubbish)
2) when not on the boat, dogs are to be kept on a leash at ALL times - there are other dogs and vehicles moving constantly in the marina, should you allow your dog to be off a lead this is at your own risk
3) dogs are not to be left unattended

‘Semi retired’ after a life in business, Ron, and wife, Carmen, are beef cattle farmers in South Gippsland, Victoria. Ron remains on a couple of small company boards as an independent director. Having fallen in love with the Murray River in South Australia, they decided to buy a houseboat to fully enjoy the river. They love nothing more than spending time on Cristal, looking out over the Murray River with a glass of wine and close friends.
