A Scandinavian inspired cabin retreat that encourages relaxation and rekindled connection. A place for you to set aside life's to-do’s and experience conscious and purposeful living. Peacefully situated on 2 acres of mature red and white pines, the expansive windows create an airy, light filled space where you feel immersed in the nature around you.

The space
This 439 sq ft modern cabin has been thoughtfully curated with simplicity and functionality in mind. The "less is more" design includes soft, airy, neutrals with light wood accents.

The open concept floor plan includes a cozy living space with kitchenette (electric stove top, mini fridge/freezer, and essential cooking tools/utensils). You can experience the views from any angle with the floor to ceiling windows that look on to your private deck, fire pit, and wood barrel sauna. Outdoor twinkle lighting perfectly sets the vibe for your evening!

You will enjoy a restful sleep on a Queen sized Endy mattress with 100% Organic Cotton sheets.

The bathroom includes a standing rain shower with premium, eco-conscious shower products provided. There is also a washer/dryer for use should you require it during your stay.

Your booking includes everything you'll need to be immersed in nature without compromising on comfort. We provide fresh linens, plush towels, bath robes, toiletries, running water, cooking essentials, firewood, and a free entry pass for Ontario Provincial Parks should you choose to venture off for the day!

Our hope is that this space makes you want to slow down, take a deep breath, and re-spark that love of life in your soul in a peaceful and calm setting.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire space including outdoor deck, fire pit area, along with private sauna.

We will provide a unique access code for you to enter the cabin prior to your check in (keyless entry experience).

A few things to note:

1) Ontario Provincial Parks Pass

We love sharing a complimentary Ontario Parks pass for you to use as a little way of helping you explore more of the beautiful area around us. Silent Lake Provincial Park is only 10 minutes away and perfect for canoeing, kayaking, hiking, or just relaxing by the beach. All we ask is that you pop by the park office to register your car and return the pass when you’re finished, so the next guests can enjoy it too! (replacements are $115 CAD).

2) Firewood & Kindling

We’ve got you covered for firewood - just bring along a little kindling or collect some off the property to help get the fire going and please keep an eye on local fire safety rules!

3) Commercial Use

Our cabin was created for rest, connection, and quiet escapes (it’s not set up for commercial use unless previously discussed)

4) Guests & Age Guidelines

The cabin is designed with individual wanderers and couples in mind, so at this time we cannot accommodate infants, children under 18, or furry friends (we're sorry!)

5) Waste & Recycling

Being tucked away in nature means we don’t have curbside waste removal, sadly! We ask that you take any trash and recycling with you - we’ll make it easy by having bags ready for you in the cabin.

Neighborhood highlights

The cabin is located peacefully on 2 acres of mature pines, 10 minutes from the town of Bancroft. You are only a short drive away from all necessities (grocery, pharmacy, gas station, Kawartha dairy, etc). You are also only an 11 minute drive to Silent Lake Provincial Park and many other hiking trails and public beach access points. The cabin is situated approximately 200 ft off the main road by private driveway.

Please note we are on a residential road with neighbouring properties on both ends who value their privacy.

Lastly, although we are on a regularly plowed road, we do *highly* recommend Winter tires for any bookings between November - March as the area can experience heavy snowfall.
