The space
Kererū Farm Stay NZ is set on a beautiful 20 hectares with rural valley and sea views. With forests trails, wild meadows and heaps of native birds you’ll feel a world away. Yet it’s just 15 minutes drive to the historic city of Dunedin.
The farm hosts Kererū Cottage and Kererū Guesthouse (with two queen bedrooms). Both pet friendly.
Kererū Cottage is separate and private with a cosy feel from which to enjoy the rural and sea views. Enjoy the wood burner in the comfortable living/dining room. Prepare a meal in the well equipped kitchen complete with 2 Induction hot plates, Air Fryer Oven, Microwave oven, full size fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine and all the other essentials.
Relax and soak in the views from the Queen bedroom with ensuite.
The bedroom also includes a small double sofa bed suitable for children/single adult. A Portacot is available on request.
There is a Queen size sofa bed (with additional memory foam topper for extra comfort) in the living room for additional guests.
The lounge also has another 3 seater sofa, wingback chair, smart TV, wifi, dining table and a range of board games, books and kids toys to keep everyone entertained.
Outside patio and seating with a fully fenced private garden. BBQ for outdoor dining.
We are rural so be prepared for nightly wildlife sounds, insects, windy tree and chimney sounds at times, amazing dark starry nights and being woken by the dawn chorus of native birds.
Please refrain from smoking, preparing/cooking fish or spicy foods.
