Lakeside cottage with its own jetty and boat in lake Ullvettern. Spacious kitchen and bathroom and large living room with fireplace and TV. Glazed conservatory with fireplace and a large south-facing patio. One bedroom with a double bed and one with a bunk bed. On the back yard there is a cottage with a double bed. Nearby are Bergslagen's forests with hiking trails and attractions. Bed linen and towels are always included!
The space
The cottage is located on the second row from the lake with a substantial plot of land for play, games and sun and also a private jetty by the lake with space for two boats and a couple of deckchairs and bathing ladder. It is also possible to bring and launch your own boat with a trailer and have it moored at the jetty for fishing and longer boat trips. You can see the position of the jetty in relation to the cabin in the last picture, approx. 150 m to walk.
If you continue past the jetty, there is a boules court and its own small islet with a communal bathing jetty and barbecue area in the evening sun.
The main building has a brand new spacious and fully equipped with induction cooker, dishwasher, convection oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. Plenty of crockery and kitchen accessories for comfortable cooking for at least 6 people. Usual spices, washing-up liquid and the like are available as we also use the cabin ourselves. But feel free to top up if something runs out!
The bathroom with shower is spacious and there is a hairdryer and electrical outlet. Washing machine and tunble dryer is in an adjacent space along with all cleaning equipment.
The living room is large and has a fireplace to burn in during cool evenings and a 65" Smart-TV with Swedish terrestrial free channels and apps such as Netflix, Youtube, Rakuten etc and Airplay for own streaming. . WIFI with a good 4G connection is available. A good Bluetooth speaker is also available.
Outside the living room, there is a cozy glazed conservatory, also with a fireplace, which enhances the feeling.
If you continue out on the same level, you will find a large south-facing patio with a table that can accommodate 8 people.
If you continue around the house, you will come to another large patio, this one under cover, where the entrance to the house is also located, as well as a seating area, charcoal grill and outdoor shower.
Inside the cottage there is a bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and one with a bunk bed (2 x 90 cm) and two wardrobes. In the living room there is a large wardrobe for those in the double bedroom.
On the yard there is also a small cabin with a double bed (180 cm) if you are more than 4 people or want slightly separated sleeping areas. Here there is also a desk with space for a computer if you want to be able to sit and work a little separately.
In addition to swimming and fishing in the lakes Ullvettern, Frövettern, Alkvettern, Öjevettern and Stor-Lungen in the Bergslag Canal, there are also many of Bergslagen's sights such as Persbergs Gruvfält and Hornkullens Silver Mine, as well as many nice and well-marked hiking and cycling trails nearby.
It is 23 km to Karlskoga by car and there are also good bus connections, and it is 28 km to Kristinehamn. In these cities there are both attractions such as the Picasso sculpture and the Nobel Museum as well as all conceivable services.
It takes 10 minutes by car to Storfors, which is the nearest town.
There are several grocery stores, restaurants, system companies and pharmacies here.
A simple launching ramp for boats up to approx. 5.5 m is available at the lake by the cottage and fishing licenses can be redeemed online for fishing in all the lakes that can be reached by boat.
Our boat has oars and an electric motor with battery.
At the cottage there is a fish cleaning bench with water and an extra freezer available if you are a big fisherman.

You use the entire house and the cottage on the plot yourself.
Other things to note
Regarding cleaning, we expect the cabin to be left in the same condition as when you arrived, except that towels and bed linen are left together in the bathroom or laundry room.
