Lovely, welcoming casita for two in the tranquil Andalucian countryside. This is truly a place to unwind and relax.
Walking and cycling tracks direct from the door. The village is 5 minutes drive away with 3 bars, serving delicious food. 15 minutes away is the lovely town of Huercal-Overa where you can find all amenities including supermarkets, restaurants and beautiful architecture in the old town where you can while away many an hour with a drink and tapa. The coast is just 40 minutes drive.

Completely private casita, ideally situated for walkers, cyclists and bikers as there are many trails directly accessible from our track.

Although we are discreet and as quiet as we can be, you will possibly be aware of our presence at times when we are walking the dogs or watering the plants.
We never enter your private holiday accommodation whether you are in or out and we are mindful that this is your holiday and we try to make it as pleasurable as possible for you :)
This accommodation is ideal for digital nomads who can take advantage of breaks by the pool or walking in the sunshine before returning to work refreshed.

The casita is totally private for you only.
It has it's own courtyard, entrance and parking.
A car is essential as we are out in the countryside 5 minutes from the nearest village and 15 minutes from the nearest town.
The swimming pool is available from May to September and is shared with guests from one other two person casita on site.

Other things to note
If you are staying during the Winter months, we use portable heaters for your casita.
The first butane bottle is complementary and should last a while if used carefully. Any subsequent bottles can be purchased at local rate.
We respectfully ask that the checking in and out times are adhered to as this greatly assists us in preparing for our next guests.
Checking in after 3 o'clock.
Checking out before 11 o'clock.
There is a smoking area outside the casita door but we ask that there is no smoking inside the casita or pool area. Thank you.
We live on site with our rescue animals.
Although we are very discreet and as quiet as we can be, you might possibly be aware that we are around sometimes! You might see us walking our dogs through the communal areas of the property. We also water the many plants almost everyday. We don't impose on your space :)

Cortijo Rosa Bonita is situated in the countryside down a short track off a very quiet road but only 5 minutes drive from a village with 2 bars and 15 minutes from a town with all amenities.
There are hills and dry riverbeds to explore direct from the property.
No need to get the car out every day but should you feel the need to explore further afield, we are conveniently situated for travelling to many beaches or the CABO DE GATA NATIONAL PARK.
We are only 35 minutes drive from MOJACAR with it's beautiful traditional WHITE WASHED TOWN and it's fantastic array of BEACHES with many bars and fabulous restaurants.
MOJACAR = 35 minutes
ALMERIA = 1 HOUR
CABO DE GATA NATIONAL PARK = I hour 10 minutes
GRANADA = 2 hours
SIERRA NEVADA = 2 hours 30 minutes

Hola! I came to live in Spain with my family in 2018. We have renovated an old Cortijo/farmhouse in the countryside and have two lovely, cosy casitas which we rent out to holiday makers or people wanting to work remotely for a change of scenery. We have several cats and dogs. Mum and I love gardening although the Spanish weather has been challenging! We would be very happy to host you in one of our cosy casitas for two.
