Other things to note
Important things to know about your stay-
Life at the Sanctuary
Congruence Tucson is a working sanctuary, and part of its unique charm lies in the daily rhythms of life here. We want to ensure you have an accurate picture of what to expect so you can fully embrace the experience.
A Living, Breathing Sanctuary
Our ranch hands are on the property daily from 7:30 AM to noon. During this time, you may see them driving the ATV, working with the horses, or tending to the land. They work respectfully and mindfully, and their presence is essential to maintaining the sanctuary’s harmony.
Our Four-Legged Residents
We share this space with two wonderful dogs. To ensure all guests feel comfortable, the dogs are either on a leash or safely contained in their yard during your stay.
Our Neighborhood and Surroundings
While we live on a serene 6.5-acre property, our neighbors occasionally enjoy their own spacious lots of 3.5 acres or more. Though our property offers privacy and tranquility, it is not a completely remote destination, allowing for a balance of peaceful seclusion and connection to the local community. On occasion, you may hear children playing, families enjoying their space, or the neighborhood rooster greeting the morning. In the evenings, the desert comes alive with natural sounds—coyotes howling, owls calling, and the gentle rustle of nocturnal creatures, creating an enchanting backdrop to your stay.
The Casita at Congruence is ideally located just 10 minutes from Saguaro National Park West, where breathtaking desert landscapes and iconic hiking trails await, and only 5 minutes from the popular Sweetwater Preserve Trailhead, a favorite for outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, we are just 20 minutes from downtown Tucson, allowing you to experience the vibrancy of the city’s hidden culinary and cultural gems during the day, then retreat to the relative quiet and serenity of the desert in the evening. This unique blend of accessibility and tranquility makes Congruence Tucson the perfect destination for exploration, relaxation, and connection to nature.
If you have any questions or specific needs regarding the sanctuary’s rhythms, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to make your stay as enjoyable and aligned with your expectations as possible.
