Guests describe Sheila and Dave as warm, knowledgeable hosts who make the stay feel personal
Enjoy your private bungalow at our beautiful alpaca ranch. Your rental will come with a complimentary experience with our alpacas. You will be minutes away from golf, minutes from mountain biking, hiking & horseback riding trails. We are along the Placer Wine & Ale trail. Hosts Sheila & David would love to share their ranch & animals with you. So, Paca-Ur-Bags, enjoy a Paca-Fun on your Paca-cation getaway. Our Paca-culture is all inclusive.

The space
As our guest, enjoy our 20-acre ranch in your private loft bungalow with self-check in and free parking. The loft has a unique alpaca motif. When you stay at Colusa Riverside Alpaca Ranch you can enjoy its peaceful serenity, but also the soul quieting nature of their alpacas.

You can take lots of pictures with the many beautiful settings on the ranch, not to mention pictures with the alpacas. We recommend sunset as the best time for your photos. Because we are a photography venue there are multiple spots on the ranch that make for wonderful backdrops for your personal photos.

We provide bath amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Complimentary snacks are provided along with some breakfast foods. We try to accommodate guest requests for early check in whenever possible.

Owner is available on site or by phone for any questions or help you may need. We believe in respecting your privacy unless called upon. The ranch can be your private oasis.

Horseback riders bring your horses; we can accommodate horses too. All can enjoy the trails of Hidden Falls Regional Park or the famous Western States Trail. Our ranch is minutes away from all the recreation areas that Placer County offers. Maybe you just want to enjoy a weekend of R & R amongst our alpacas. Colusa Riverside Ranch welcomes you. Sheila knows every trail in this area if you need help.

The loft can fit 2 adults and 2 children on a sleeper couch.

Guest access
There is ample parking area around the house, your loft and the barn. We do live in a rural area with many small ranches. Please remember footing can be a challenge in certain areas. If coming with your horses for a riding vacation, we offer horse boarding and free parking for your trailers. We do not provide horse rentals.

Other things to note
Horse pasture boarding is available for a separate fee of $25 per horse per day, feed included. We offer Alfalfa, Teff and Orchard Grass hay options.
