Colline di Rafael is located near Lake Trasimeno. This area is protected due to its natural resources. It is nice to visit the islands or go on the water with children. Around the lake you will find a number of beautiful and charming villages (Passignano sul Trasimeno, Castiglione del lago, San Feliciano, etc.). Here you can do some pleasant shopping, make some purchases or have a glass of Aperol spritz or prosecco while the sun sets over the lake.

The immediate vicinity of Colline di Rafael is characterized by beautiful medieval villages belonging to the "borghi più belli d'Italia", such as Panicale, Chiusi, Città delle pieve, Corciano, etc.. Colline di Rafael is a joint project of a Belgian (Flemish) family consisting of three families with a total of 6 children. “Colline” refers to the hilly area covered with olive groves and vineyards in the Piegaro region, on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, in the heart of Italy. “Rafael” is a typical Italian name (also that of a famous Italian painter), but it also contains the initials of the names of the six children: Rosalie, Annachiara, Florence, Alexine, Emmanuel, and Leonardo.
