Welcome to our little cocoon attached to our organic farm located in a small hamlet at the entrance to Leysin. We are sheep's milk cheese producers and your stay will take place next to our sheepfold in a farm that dates back to the 18th century. We promise you a stay in a cozy farmhouse and in refurbished accommodation. Your attic room will make you feel like you're in a treehouse. This is the starting point for many hikes or ski trips.

The space
You will have a large closed vestibule for shoes and jackets, a living room with a convertible and comfortable sofa bed (140/190) (very easy to open and close for the day, storage is provided for the duvet) for 2 people, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a kitchen island, a mezzanine with double bed (160/200) and a bathroom with shower. There is a 3-drawer dresser in the living room and a large basket and a small dresser in the mezzanine to store your belongings. A cellar allows you to store your skis and bikes safely. You'll find beds made on arrival and towels for every guest.

You can reach the cable cars by car in 5 minutes (we even have a good free parking plan right next to the departure to offer you) or by TPC bus from Crettaz, our hamlet.

The cocoon is ideally designed for a maximum of 4 people.

Other things to note
We are organic farmers (Les Ateliers en Crettaz – Barroud Family) concerned with sustainable development who promise you natural cleaning of your home and your sheets/linens. The products available (olive oil, cider vinegar, coffee, black tea, sugar, salt, pepper, dishwashing liquid, sponge, soap) are organic and as local as possible. They come from our sustainable grocery store located in the center of Leysin where you are welcome of course. They are sold in bulk, so you can stock up on staples in small quantities. Even the toilet paper comes from a Geneva company and is bought in bulk, without plastic. A basket filled with basic local products will be waiting for you on arrival, in the form of a mini-bar, you will have the choice to buy or not the products it contains.

You will stay in an agricultural environment. Quiet most of the time but tractors are active during the hay and second hay season. In summer, the mowers are activated and in winter the strawberry machines too. Our cows and sheep don't have bells, which doesn't stop them from making themselves heard. Neighborhood highlights

The accommodation is located in the small hamlet of Crettaz, at the entrance to Leysin, in a part of the 18th century Farmhouse, rehabilitated into a small cocoon ready to welcome you with all the necessary comforts. Our cocoon is ideal for those looking for authenticity, nature, hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing (slopes 50 m away). It is located next to the sheepfold where we milk every morning. The manufacturing facility is located in another building 15 meters from your entrance. Depending on the season, we may be making hay or clearing snow from the yard and therefore there may be a lot of activity in the yard (tractors), but the rest of the time, it is absolutely quiet.
