Coco Loco is the kind of place where guests come to slow down, walk to dinner, spend the day at the beach, see a sunset, and enjoy the simple island life that makes the town of Esperanza in Vieques so special.

One of my favorite parts of living here? The wild horses. Don't be surprised if they wander through the property while you're having your morning coffee.

A Few House Rules
• Adults only (18+)
• Maximum occupancy is the number listed for your unit
• No visitors
• Quiet hours are 10 PM–6 AM
• No smoking anywhere on the property
• No pets
Island Life: Vieques is a real Caribbean island. You'll hear roosters, see wild horses, and experience nature all around you. Earplugs are provided for light sleepers (just ask if you need extras).
When fruit is in season, feel free to enjoy what's growing around the property:

Whether you're here for Bio Bay, beach hopping, snorkeling, or simply relaxing by the pool, I hope Coco Loco feels like home during your stay.
Guest access
The property is accessed through the main front gate, and guests have 24-hour access. All doors have a keyless self check-in, so you can arrive anytime after check-in begins.
A backup key is available inside the unit should you ever need it.
Check-In & Check-Out
• Check-in is after 2:00 PM
• Check-out is by 11:00 AM
Late check-out is not available due to our cleaning schedule sorry.
Good news! 12pm early check-in is usually available for an additional $30 fee, just ask if available as we're always happy to check!
Luggage Storage: If you get in early, or need a place to store luggage after check-out we strongly recommend Vieques Sol on El Malecón. They hold and store luggage in a secure weatherproof environment and open at 9:30 AM. It's also a great place to buy drinks, souvenirs, and snacks. A great solution I wish they had when I was a traveler vs carrying luggage to the beach. :-)
Other things to note
In 2023, I came to Coco Loco as a guest.
I loved it so much that when I discovered it was for sale, I sold everything I owned in Florida, left the corporate world behind, and started a completely new life here in Vieques.
Best decision I've ever made.
Today, Coco Loco has five unique apartments, including the owner's apartment where I live, so I'm usually nearby if you need anything. Being owner operated means you'll always communicate directly with me, not a management company.
*** No Cleaning Fee ***
I choose not to charge a cleaning fee because I want to offer one of the best values in Vieques.
In return, I simply ask that guests treat the apartment with the same care and respect they would their own home. Washing dishes, taking out the trash, and leaving the space reasonably tidy at checkout helps my small team prepare the apartment for the next guests, who often arrive just a few hours after your departure.
