For over 20 years guests have stayed at Coco Loco in Vieques just 1.5 blocks from the top beaches, restaurants, live music, and everything Vieques has to offer. We are a budget friendly Caribbean vacation home and the perfect spot to explore the Bio Bay, have beach days, or just exhale and be in the moment in Puerto Rico!

One of my favorite parts of the property? The wild horses. Don't be surprised if they wander through the property while you're having your morning coffee.

Whether you're here for Bio Bay, beach hopping, snorkeling, or simply relaxing by the pool, I hope Coco Loco feels like home during your stay.
Side note: It is Puerto Rico, so although rare, occasional water or power outages can happen. We keep a 500 gallon emergency water reserve for showering and flushing toilets, plus battery power stations and rechargeable solar lights to keep the basics going. Think modern camping during an outage with a little small island charm. It definitely makes for memories, and since I live on the property, I am here to help make sure everyone stays comfortable and taken care of.
Guest access
The property is accessed through the main front gate, and guests have 24-hour access. All units feature keyless and a key is available inside your apartment, should you ever need it.
Check-In & Check-Out
* Check-in: After 2:00 PM
* Check-out: By 11:00 AM
Early Check-In (12:00 PM): If our cleaning schedule allows, a 12:00 PM early check-in may be available for an additional $30. Just send us a message to check availability. If available, we'll send the request through Airbnb for you to accept.
Quick Guest Guidelines
* Adults only (18+)
* No visitors
* Quiet hours, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
* No smoking on property
* Windows & doors stay closed: Due to humidity and salt air
* No pets or Emotional Support Animals (ESAs)
* Trained service animals are always welcome! We love them!
We are here to help with just about anything during your stay. The only two things we are unable to accommodate are late checkout and luggage storage. Anything else, let us know!
Other things to note
In 2023, I came to Coco Loco as a guest and it was for sale. After 3 days on property, I could not help but dream about it... So... I sold everything I owned in Florida, left the corporate world behind, put an offer that got accepted, and made the jump!!! I moved to Vieques. Best decision I've ever made.
Today, Coco Loco has five apartments, including the owner's unit. Because I'm owner operated, you'll always communicate directly with me, never a management company.
