Whip up morning feasts while others perch at the breakfast bar for freshly brewed coffee—you’ll be fully stocked with complimentary pods for the Nespresso as well as one of our favorite blends from a local Asheville roaster. Then plan your next adventure over breakfast at a chic hand-hewn dining table.
Or opt for an afternoon at home spent soaking up sunshine on the wraparound terrace. It’s the perfect setting to snuggle up with a novel while admiring the views or sip local beers over home-cooked southern BBQ.
Cloud 9 is owned by Singer / Songwriter, Tommy Lee James, and music lovers will no doubt feel a kinship of spirit here. Downstairs you’ll find a laid-back lounge with a gallery that pays homage to some of the greats. Come down with a friend or two and a bottle of local wine, and share it in the company of music legends.
When it’s time to wind down, the living area offers space for everyone to sit by the fire and watch the stars come out over darkening mountains. All three king-size bedrooms have their own bathrooms, and each offers its own special delight—opt for the bedroom off the terrace for unlimited access to fresh mountain air, or choose the ones with soaking tubs for next-level relaxation.
Cloud 9 is located on the top of a mountain, in a private gated community at roughly 3100 ft above sea level. Although there are a few switchbacks on the paved road leading up to the house, you will not need a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle.
