This gite is very warm and spacious, in an enclosed and wooded plot of 2000 m², with great views of the surrounding mountains. It is adorned with wood like a cottage, with its bar and an open fireplace that makes it very friendly and friendly. It consists of 4 rooms, living room/kitchen/dining room, 1 main bedroom, + 1 extra bedroom, 1 bathroom and 2 toilets.

The space
In the seating area, facing the bar, you can relax in front of a pleasant fireplace. At the bar, you will have digestive bottles and aperitifs, and depending on your consumption, we rely on your fair-play to replace (or leave a tip in the jackpot) so that the following guests enjoy the same variety of choices.
About the fireplace, it is quite functional and wood can be provided to you... then depending on your consumption, same for aperitif :-) .... (since the cottage is already heated at no extra cost)
The 2 bedrooms are more modern in appearance, the first with a 140 double bed and a storage unit, the second, smaller also with a 140 bed and a large wardrobe. Rather, it should be considered an extra room because there is no opening to the outside and to get to this 2nd bedroom, you have to go through the 1st bedroom (see the map attached to the photos).
Bed linen and bath towels are not provided. However, if you wish, we can make them available for 15 Euros per bed.
The bathroom is equipped with a sink, walk-in shower, toilet, washing machine and hairdryer...
The built-in kitchen consists of an induction hob, oven, extractor hood, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and all the essentials. (Towels are at your disposal).
For your convenience, the cottage also has the centralized suction of the TV and wi-fi access. Following your inspirations of "kitchen", we can lend you raclette, pierrade, waffles, crepe makers...
There are two coffee makers, a classic and a Senseo.
For grill lovers...., we have equipped the cottage with an electric plancha and an extension cord, ... because regularly the Hérault is classified in red vigilance for the use of the fire, and therefore wood-fired grilling is prohibited.... So you have the parade:-)
This cottage is equipped with a second toilet and a storage cloakroom for hiking equipment, a shoe dryer and coat rack.
Just a quick note, which could be helpful to you.....
On site, we have 2 cottages, the one of which you are reading this description, "La Clef des Champs" with a capacity for 4 people, but also the cottage "Le Mas d 'Hélène" that can accommodate 3 people. Depending on your holiday desires, for families or friends, it could allow you to preserve your privacy, while staying in the same vacation spot.
You have at your disposal:
-a petanque court, ping pong table (during summer only, because installed on the lawn)
-A pergola outdoor terrace, with table and chairs to enjoy the scenery...
In our accommodation conditions, I insist that we do not accept pets, on the one hand, because our own pets do not enter the house and on the other hand, because on our property we already have 2 dogs (English setters, obviously, very nice), but incompatible with the presence of other dogs or cats ....
During your stays in our cottages, we saw how much the presence of our chickens and their chicks, ducks, pigeons, rabbits ... was appreciated by families and their children. Especially since you can access these animals safely:), but I bring this clarification because those who do not love animals will have to orient themselves to another accommodation:).
The village of Mons La Trivalle, is located at the foot of the Caroux-Espinouse and Somail mountains, at the confluence of the Jaur, Orb and Gorges d 'Héric rivers, so that you are ideally settled for very varied activities. To enhance your stay you can hike, canoeing, climbing, tree climbing, mountain biking, swimming, discovering small villages, going to fishing (rivers, but also lakes, Raviège and Saut de Vezoles 35 minutes by car), go picking mushrooms (very famous for picking ceps and girolles), ... and take care of yourself at the spa of Lamalou Les Bains ....
The photos presented on the site are all taken within a perimeter of less than 10 kilometers, so you can discover the Gorges d 'Héric (hiking or swimming), the Caroux and Espinouse massifs and superb stone villages in the middle of the vineyards (Roquebrun, Vieussan, ... and Olargues, classified village).
In the immediate vicinity of the cottage, you have a 60-kilometer bike path that crosses the municipality of Mons la Trivalle (Bédarieux / Mazamet) as well as a kanoë-Kayak base.

Access to the cottage is private. A digital code for the sliding gate allows you to access our property.
