This recently renovated modern cabin with Starlink (internet access) is situated on 5 beautiful acres in a private mountain community. It offers an open floor plan to relax and soak up the clear view of gorgeous mountain scenery and roaming wildlife. The cabin’s location in the Bighorn Mountains allows easy access to explore Cloud Peak Wilderness in the Bighorn National Forest, hunting and fishing in nearby creeks and lakes, ATV trails, cross-country and downhill skiing, and much more.

The space
The living space features plentiful seating to relax on the leather sofa or loveseat after returning from your adventures. Take in the view of the sun setting over the mountain peaks while you grill and dine on the deck or prepare your favorite meal in the kitchen. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with amenities you might be used to at home: new stainless steel appliances, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, crock-pot, instant pot, blender, etc.

Indoor activities provided to guests include a variety of board games, decks of cards, and a library of DVD/Blu-ray movies. WiFi access is also provided for computer or cell phone use (WiFi calling/texting) or streaming movies on the televisions locating in the main living room and bunkhouse. Of course, you might choose to be electronic-free during your stay instead!

You might also enjoy a cozy outdoor campfire and roasting marshmallows right on the cabin’s property. We ask that you follow any relevant Johnson County/National Forest fire restrictions, if applicable.

When it is time to turn in for the night, enjoy the master bedroom’s king-size bed in the main house or the Bunkhouse’s double/single bunk bed that also has its own half bath. Additional guests can rest easy on one of the comfortable futons. Well-behaved dogs are invited to stay at the cabin as well.

Clearview Cabin is only 30 miles west of Buffalo, Wyoming, and 40 miles east of Ten Sleep, Wyoming. It is easily accessed off Hazelton Road (Johnson County Road #3) on Piton Place via a combination of paved and gravel roads.

Please note that during winter months, vehicle access to the cabin from Hwy 16/Hazelton Road is dependent on the accumulation of snow. Due to a few portions of the road that may be closed with snowdrifts, snowmobiles or ATVs with tracks may be required to travel the final 2-3 miles to the cabin. In addition, heat is plentiful throughout the winter months in the main house and bunkhouse, but there is no water supply to the bunkhouse once the area reaches freezing temperatures at night.
