This cabin is embraced by the rainforest, with amenities such as A/C to enjoy the rest; ideal for couples or a group of three people looking for a stay in connection with nature. The cabin has a nice view of the Caribbean Sea and the majestic Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, just 2 minutes by transport from Tayrona Park and with easy access to the most special Caribbean beaches, such as Los Angeles and Los Naranjos, a 5-minute walk, and Los Cocos, 3 minutes by transport.

The space
Cabin with outdoor shower and terrace-balcony with ocean views, between the jungle and the beach.

Inside: queen-size bed, single sofa bed, spacious and bright bathroom, kitchen equipped with utensils for three or four people, air conditioning and smart TV with Netflix.

For the beach, we provide an umbrella, chairs, a cooler and microfiber towels: take what you need and go down.

When you arrive, there is a private open-air parking lot. From there, you go up a 75-meter stone path, about a two-minute walk. It's a short but real climb: if you're coming with heavy luggage, let us know via chat and we'll give you a hand.

Other things to note
WHERE ARE YOU?
This is sacred land for the descendant peoples of the Tayrona who inhabit the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta: Arhuacos, Kankuamos, Koguis, and Wiwas. You are a two-minute ride by public transportation from Tayrona National Natural Park, and there are rivers, waterfalls and beaches nearby.

From here you can go hiking, horseback riding, bird watching, snorkeling and diving, visit nearby waterfalls and rivers, and take the unmissable tour to Ciudad Perdida: a sacred archaeological site founded in 700 AD. C., 650 years before Machu Picchu.

GETTING THERE
If you come by car, search for "Campamento Emanuel" on the GPS: the entrance to the cabin is right across the street. The bus also runs along the Caribbean Trunk all day long. And if you prefer that we organize it, we can coordinate private transportation for you from Santa Marta.

When you book, we send you our area guide with step-by-step arrival instructions and our recommendations for beaches, food, and activities. We are available via chat for whatever you need during your stay.

WATER AND ENERGY
Like the whole area, we use water from our own well. We welcome you with two bottles of water in the cabin, and if you need more, we'll tell you where to get it nearby.

We have solar panels as a backup: if the power goes out in the area, the system automatically activates and keeps essential appliances running for up to 24 hours. While it is running, the air conditioning and the heater are paused, because they consume too much and would drain the battery.

The air conditioning must be kept above 18 degrees to avoid overloading, and we ask that you turn it off when leaving, leaving the doors and windows closed.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE SURROUNDINGS
The weather is hot during the day and, at certain times, cool at night. Because it is a tropical rural area, there may be mosquitoes depending on the season, so bring repellent.

Outside the cabin you will see iguanas, bats and other local animals living in the wild: we are friends of nature and we take care of them, so we ask you to keep your clothes and belongings stored away.

The trail that goes up to the cabin is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
