The Chulavista Dome is a geodesic dome high up in the trees. Our two-storey treehouse is built around 3 Fresnos (European Ash), a tree native to Cantabria. The huge windows and large terrace offer panoramic views of the valley, mountains and forests.

The space
Fantastic for romantic getaways, the cozy bedroom sleeps two and features a seating area, nespresso coffee maker and heating.

The garden under the dome is very secluded, and offers a gas barbecue, picnic table and a jacuzzi just for the two of you. The only sounds you'll hear are birds chirping and cow bells ringing.

Enjoy this unique experience of sleeping under the stars, surrounded by nothing but nature, with all modern comfort such as a full bathroom, wifi and a microwave.

We are located high up in the beautiful Miera valley, the perfect getaway for mountain and nature lovers. The dome is totally off the beaten path, up here there are no restaurants or bars.

We are 16 kilometers away from Lièrganes, which hosts a farmer’s market on Sunday morning and has all facilities you might need sucesos as supermarkets, restaurants, shops,..

From Chulavista it's an easy 2,5 km walk to the lakes of Pozos de Noja, from where you can see the entire bay of Santander on a clear day. Add another 2km to get a view of the mighty, snowy peaks of the Picos de Europa mountains.
Within walking distance from the dome (900 metres) is the prehistoric cave of Sopeña.


We are just a 45 minute drive away from the main sights in Cantabria and the most gorgeous beaches such as Langre and Galizano.
