Looking for a place to enjoy a water front estate on 16 acres of land? Look no further than Cherry Grove Manor. It is a traditional style home that sleeps 18 & features 6,000 sq. ft. on 3 levels of living. Enjoy your private 550 ft. sandy beach that overlooks the mouth of the Elk River with views into the Chesapeake Bay. There is a private dock that you can fish and crab from. The newly renovated Salt Water Pool (not heated) offers views of the water. (Pool available May-September. )
The space
This waterfront property has plenty of activities to keep an active family busy. Whether you prefer kayaking in the river, or if you prefer to lounge by the pool, Cherry Grove Manor surely has enough amenities to help you relax. The hot tub offers great views of the water year round. Rinse off on in the newly installed outdoor shower. There are private walking trails through the woods where you can see the local wildlife. You won't go a weekend without seeing a deer or bald eagle. The interior of the house won't disappoint either. The grand entry will take your breath away. Unwind while playing pool in the billiards room or have a cup of coffee in the newly remodeled kitchen that overlooks the water and sunsets. Enjoy the restaurant grade ice machine for drinks or coolers. There are two living rooms with 65' TV's (one on the first floor and one on the 3rd floor).
Explore the local attractions. Chesapeake City along with all of their shops and restaurants is 15 min down the road. Even closer is Bohemia River State Park with walking trails and Kayaking. Just around the river bend by boat (or a 10min car ride) is Bohemia Winery and Beach Bar. Boats and Jet Ski rentals available summer 2025 at the Beach Bar

The fireplaces are not available for guests to use during their stay. We have paired with a local wildlife management group to serve as a hosting site for Chimney Swifts. The dampers are closed so that the Chimney Swifts can nest in them.
We are excited to have Starlink Internet at this property which allows for high speed internet even in a rural location. Stream multiple devices at the same time.
