This traditional scandinavian cabin is located in the Lærdal valley. Famous for farming, fishing & fjords.

Here you can have the full Norway experience. The surroundings offer a variety of different activities throughout all seasons. The popular salmon river flows just a few steps from the house and the beautiful old town of Lærdalsøyri is close by. A stay in our little Cherry will be a holiday you'll keep in good memory for a lifetime.

The space
The charming old cabin from 1900 was renovated and and furnished with care. A stay in Cherry is like a little adventure for the whole family. Nothing like the modern houses we live in today, but charming, vintage with freedom to explore.

The lower level is the community place to come together, play, eat and cook delicious meals. Upstairs you'll find cozy bedrooms.

The big terrace has plenty of space for outdoor-yoga sessions and the sofa turns into a bed to spend a night under the stars (my personally favourite place the sleep here, ask if you wanna try).
You'll find blankets and outdoor mattresses to make your outdoor-experience comfortable.

In the little kitchen garden you can pick fresh berries or tan under the big apple tree.

There is now a private sauna in the garden. We do charge a fee of 600 NOK per use, for the maintenance costs, wood, towels & extra cleaning.

Big bathroom has floor heating, hot shower and washing machine.

Because it wasn't clear for many guests I must ad this note: the cabin is 120years old. Most people find this very charming. If you're looking for a high and new building standard please don't book this place.

Other things to note
My intention with "Cherry" (that is located in front of a cherry tree field) is to make people feel comfortable to be themselves, enjoy the place, take and give back and fall in love with the place, as I did before.
The energy of the place is very special. The simplicity of the cabin reminds you of the important things in life. You really get to enjoy yourself and your surroundings, have great adventures and spend quality time with your loved ones here.
