Welcome to Domaine d'Aiguevive located in the Golden Triangle of Périgord Noir.
We rent a single 30 m2 suite with independent access within our home, the Château d'Aiguevive.
The large fully restored bedroom is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with separate toilet and enjoys a view of the pond and the Bastide de Domme.
The bed is 180/200 cm in size.

The space
The 600 m2 Château has beautiful bright reception rooms with beautiful volumes tinted with soothing and harmonious colors. The castle and its outbuildings have been completely restored.
To the north, a large swimming pool (50 m x 17 m), a former fully masoned head race, is fed by a stream that crosses the entire estate and brings freshness and tranquility. A large water jet brings it to life and reminds us of the "feeling of living water" – Aiguevive. The Domaine will later be consecrated by the eponymous term.
To the south, on two levels, terraces are conducive to moments of relaxation and rest and open onto a large park in the center of which sits a pool (12 m x 6 m).
From the Château and the park, one "enjoys an admirable view of Domme whose colorful design is reflected in the mirror of the pond fed by the mill" Jean Secret, Châteaux et Manoirs du Périgord.
On the ground floor, the large 80 m2 entrance hall welcomes you (with a capacity of 50 guests at round tables), it leads to the large living room with fireplace, the library and the billiard room as well as the dining room (with a capacity of 12 guests) and a large equipped kitchen with fireplace. It gives access to the lower terrace, with an imperial table (16 guests), and to the stairs that lead to the pool. A secondary hall houses a bathroom and serves the floors.
On the 1st floor, a large 40 m2 living room with fireplace opens onto a superb 60 m2 terrace, overlooking the park and the pool. The four large bedrooms are located at the four corners of the building. Two of them have independent ensuite bathrooms and the other two have a connecting bathroom. A large dressing room, linen room and amenities complete this level.
On the 2nd floor, a large corridor leads to four bedrooms as well as two en-suite bathrooms and amenities.
The + comfort: The castle is equipped with central heating (underfloor heating and radiators), satellite TV and internet. The 12 m x 6 m pool is equipped with chlorine filtration.
Guest access
You have access to the large upstairs living room, the upper terrace, the entire park and the kitchen during breakfast.

My name is Jean-Xavier, I am an architect and live in the Manoir du Domaine d'Aiguevive.
I am usually present on the Estate. I can therefore help you and inform you throughout the stay to meet your needs.
I can also show you around the property's Nut Mill as well as the Walnut Groves.
I would be happy to show you the good spots in the area.
Other things to note
The Château d'Aiguevive is located in Dordogne, near Sarlat, in the heart of the very popular and touristy Périgord Noir, in the golden triangle of the Dordogne Valley, labeled "Major Site of Aquitaine". The estate covers 7.5 hectares and consists, in addition to the elegant 18th century noble residence, of two beautiful outbuildings, a 15th century mill, and was long the workshop of the great artist Lucien de Maleville "whose brush sang with a very personal genius the charm of the Périgord Noir". The 5-hectare Noyeraie, planted with 400 walnut trees, from 16 varieties and, farmed organically, forms a plant backdrop for the estate.
The property overlooks the historic Bastide de Domme and benefits from a monumental masonry water feature supplied by a spring and intended for swimmers.
The Domaine d'Aiguevive also has a water mill for the production of walnut oil, which I can show you.
