Our chalet is close to the ski lifts at Roc D'Enfer/ La Grande Terche, Morzine and Ardent. It has fantastic views down the valley towards the Abbey and is a short walk to the ski station at Roc D'Enfer and the bus stop to the village. It is a great location for families.
The space
Chalet Olimon is a semi-detached chalet close to La Grande Terche near the village of St Jean D'Aulps. It is offered on a self catered basis with two bedrooms on the top floor - 4 singles (which can be converted to a double and two singles) in one room and a double room on the top floor . There is a self-contained studio apartment for two with a double bed on the lower ground floor giving a total of 8 bed spaces.
The chalet is on the road up to La Grande Terche/Roc D'Enfer ski station close to the village of St Jean D'Aulps. It is around 10 minutes' drive from the larger resort town of Morzine and has easy access to the Portes du Soleil at Ardent. The bus to La Grande Terche and St Jean stops at the end of the road approximately 2 minutes' walk away.
The chalet is available throughout the ski season as well as from June to the end of November. We are generally flexible with arrival and departure dates so that you can take advantage of cheaper mid week flights.
CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR 2023/24
We are able to take bookings from Saturday 16 December 2023 with check in only available on Saturdays. Minimum stay during this period is seven nights.
FEBRUARY 2024
We will only be able to accept arrivals and departures on Saturdays during February.
SUMMER 2024
The chalet is available from mid June to mid September to take advantage of the lift opening times.
As well as the usual mountain attractions of biking and hiking, the chalet is ideally placed to access all of the amenities of Lake Geneva which is 20 minutes away.
The chalet has free wifi, TV with UK and French channels including access to Amazon Prime and Netflix. There is also a log burner with logs provided free of charge.
Prices start from 750€ per week or 100€ per night for shorter stays. The weekly price includes all linen, wood for the log burner and end of stay cleaning for weekly stays. Short stays of less than a week incur an additional cleaning charge.
A catered option can be arranged at additional cost - either for the full duration of your stay or for individual evenings.
Similarly, transfers to and from the slopes are available at additional costs for those who do not have their own transport and don't wish to use the shuttle bus.

Guest access
Guests have access to all areas of the chalet as well as a garden area to the rear of the chalet.
Other things to note
The kitchen is fully equipped with full sized oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with a small freezer section.
There is a washing machine in the laundry room on the lower floor.
In addition to the newly refurbished main bathroom on the top floor, there is also a shower room with loo and wash hand basin on the living floor.
Outside, there is ample parking for up to three cars with one space under cover and a small rear garden.
