A total healing experience in nature: hand-built cottage in the heart of the forest, in the heart of the Charlevoix crater. Direct view of the Mont des Éboulements massif. Trails, streams, ponds and millions of square feet of forest just for you. Pure happiness!
The space
This is truly a unique experience. The cottage is 1 km from the road, in the middle of the forest. You can't see or hear anything but nature all around.
No electricity or Wi-Fi, but the network is excellent, solar energy lights us, propane feeds us and wood warms us.
Indoor toilet and outdoor shower.
One closed bedroom with double bed, balcony and incredible view + one mezzanine with double mattress + sofa bed if needed. Perfect for a small family of 4 or 5, then.
It is a rustic but beautiful construction, with all the essentials, no frills. A great place for forest bathing (sylvotherapy or "shinrin yoku" in Japanese): the best anti-stress remedy out there!
On site you will find a map of the forest with all the facilities and attractions, including trails, a tree climbing course for children and a wildlife observation hide.
All 10 minutes from the village of Les Éboulements and 20 minutes from Baie-Saint-Paul.
Specials for weekly (-10%) or monthly (-25%) rentals.

Neighborhood highlights
The row has a few cottages, but each is on a HUGE forest plot. So you shouldn't run into any neighbors during your stay. This is a dirt road and not a main road, so the row is not busy at all. It's absolute peace, pure happiness! All just 10 minutes from the village and all services.

It is with a head full of ideas that we left our native Montérégie in 2019 to settle in Charlevoix and start a new life of innkeepers with the family. Lovers of travel, nature, good food and history, we fell to the designated place! We have now sold the hostel, but we are continuing the adventure with other accommodations where it's good to drop off and live differently for a while.
