Welcome to @ADK_Chalet, a cozy retreat nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Located 15 min. from the slopes of Whiteface Mountain, our chalet offers easy access to skiing & snowboarding. Surrounded by the beauty of Ausable Acres, enjoy hiking, cross-country skiing, & snowshoeing right from your doorstep. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid, you'll find great shopping & dining options. Adventure, relaxation, & unforgettable memories await you! There’s something for everyone @ADK_Chalet.
The space
Our home is equipped with a GENERAC for power outages. After one minute of downtime, the GENERAC will automatically power-on.
*Our home is exempt from Airbnb’s Service/Assistance/Emotional Support Animal Policy. No animals are allowed regardless of certification. We apologize for any inconvenience.*
*Guest count at the Chalet cannot exceed 5 people. Failure to disclose extra guests will result in a $50 per person, per night additional fee.
Guest access
The entire home is available for your use. The exceptions are the back half of the mechanical room, and the garage.
Other things to note
Please note that to access the sauna, a waiver must be signed by each guest, and instructions in the welcome manual should be read and agreed to.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Late departures are subject to a $50/hr fee, with prior approval from the host.
The Game Shed is for your use and is filled with outdoor yard games (corn hole, bucket ball, KanJam). Please be sure to put the games away, lock the shed, and place the keys back by the door before check-out.
