Chalet Wolf runs completely independent from the traditional power grid. We generate our own electricity through solar panels and store it in batteries —so even when the sun takes a break, the cabin keeps running smoothly.
In the winter months, especially during long cloudy or snowy stretches, guests are encouraged to use electricity mindfully (for example, switching off lights when not needed or limiting use of high-energy appliances, or using them during sunny hours - i.e. running the dish washer). If the batteries ever run low, a back-up generator is available to recharge them, ensuring you always stay comfortable.
We’d love to show you that living in harmony with nature is not only possible, but beautiful and exciting and using less energy and water can feel just right.
Inside, you’ll find two cozy bedrooms with double beds and pull-out trundles, plus spacious living areas with large sofas that can comfortably sleep two adults each. Stay warm with underfloor heating and a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for crisp mountain evenings.
The fully equipped kitchen is a delight for any home chef, featuring a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, oven, gas stove, and coffee lovers’ essentials including a Nespresso machine and a traditional coffee pot. You’ll also find a kettle, toaster, and blender, along with basic pantry staples like oil, spices, rice, and more.
The cabin has one bathroom with a shower and WC, but no TV or microwave—here, your view is the star. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame breathtaking Tatra vistas, magical sunsets, and the playful wildlife that frequents the surroundings.
Families will love the spacious playroom with a secret hideaway, books, and toys, while adults can unwind in the sunlit living area with west-facing windows. Wi-Fi, board games, and books are available, though the best connection is always with the surrounding nature.

From the main road, a paved asphalt road leads to a stretch of unpaved gravel that leads to the cabin. During winter months or bad weather, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle or one with higher clearance. Snow chains are also recommended in winter. After all, magical places like this aren’t found right on the main road! ❄️🌲
