Cozy beach cabin, close to sand and sea. Enjoy the sauna, outdoor shower, and a newly remodeled bathroom. The space includes a full kitchen, comfy living room, and everything you need to relax. Dog-friendly and full of good vibes - Cetacean Station is your peaceful coastal retreat for beach walks, sunsets, and unwinding by the sea. This is a full independent cabin with fenced front yard, but the backyard space (including sauna and outdoor shower) is shared with our own home.
The space
One bedroom has closet, dresser, and a full-sized bed. Mattress by Stumptown Mattress, a PNW owned sustainable company - all mattresses are made in WA State.
The living room has a queen sized hide-a-bed with a wool topper. A curated selection of DVD’s, board games, and books are available. There is a Firestick with TV - you can enter your own apps, but there are no regular cable stations.
The bathroom was remodeled Spring of 2025 and includes a marble tile shower with bench and shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap. Under the sink, you can find a hair dryer, first aid kit, and a small supply of items you might have forgot - sunscreen, powder, and various sundries.
The kitchen has a regular sized fridge with freezer, a small oven with 3 burner stove, and normal
Kitchen items like toaster, blender, microwave, dishes, coffee maker. We also leave a selection of seasonings, cooking oil, and various items to make your basic cooking more pleasant. *Cooking supplies like seasoning and oil are not guaranteed, but are provided for your convenience.* No dishwasher! A dish drainboard, along with sponge and dish soap is under the sink. A small round table with 2 chairs is available for dining - additional chairs can be found elsewhere in the cabin. A wood butcher block counter top is also in the kitchen, but we ask that you use the provided cutting boards.
The hall linen closet has bedding and pillows for the hide-a-bed. There are an assortment of pillow types throughout the cabin to please various tastes. Linen closet also has extra towels, including 2 larger spa towels. Room available in linen closet to pack away your own items as well.
The front yard is entirely fenced, with a sliding gate that leads out to the road; we are half a block from the two-lane highway in one direction, and two blocks to the beach in the other direction. From the gate, you can see the ocean. You can drive through the gate to park on the gravel in front of the cabin.
There also is a raised garden bed with culinary herbs for your use in the kitchen. Two chairs are out front to enjoy your coffee in the morning, and there’s an outdoor couch and chairs around the corner to the west of the cabin, available during the summer. Sometimes the cushions are stored due to wet weather, but message us if the weather has lifted and you’d like to use them.
Out the back door is access to our shared backyard, shared with your host. Out back is where the sauna, outdoor shower, and a sink/clam cleaning station are located. Instructions for using the sauna are on the fridge, or message us and we can arrange a time to start it for you.
We can’t guarantee that we are always on site to provide cushions and start the sauna, but we are happy to provide instruction as needed and available. We hope you like the extra amenities staying with Cetacean Station provides.

Lives in Long Beach, Washington
What makes my home unique: Garden spaces, zen atmosphere, BEACH!
I am building a health and wellness center in Long Beach, WA. I have been a farmer and managed a farmers market, so local foods are super important to me. I'm happy to share what I know and love to travel and eat local cuisines all over. Cleaning marine debris off the beaches is another passion of mine. I also enjoy mushroom foraging, clamming, herbalism and am happy to share with my guests (when hosting.)
