The space
All the conveniences of home in a central location known for its artsy street murals, great cafes and restaurants. Single level home with no steps and paver pathways in the fenced front and back yards, ideal for kids, pets and guests with mobility issues.
Both bedrooms in this stylish home have hypoallergenic down-alternative comforters and pillows, with mattress, pillow and comforter protectors. The protected comforters are also in cotton duvet covers, with all cotton premium sheets and a cotton throw blanket and throw pillows for each room. The king bedroom also has a desk for private work space, while there is an additional pull down desk also in the dining area in addition to the dining table. Each bedroom has a closet with hangers, full length mirror, ceiling fan/light, two windows and curtains plus blinds, end tables, reading lamp, and a cute, breathable natural hamper.
The kitchen is equipped with a new stainless steel refrigerator with filtered water dispenser and ice maker, as well as a matching stove with air fry feature. A colorful set of “forever-chemical"-free ceramic pots and pans, and a Keurig coffee machine with disposable and refillable filters as well as a stovetop Italian espresso maker are provided, for less waste to be kind to our earth. A full set of dishes, dining utensils, toaster, blender, rice cooker/steamer, food scale, bamboo and silicone cooking utensils, pot holders, baking sheets and the extra work space provided by a kitchen cart are appreciated by guests who like to cook, while a microwave is available for guests who want to experience the many great restaurants in the area and reheat leftovers! Trash setup allows guests to easily separate and dispose of their trash and recyclables, and when full, empty in the bins a few steps out the back door. BPA free, microwavable silicone baby spoon with plate/bowl set, as well as a set of unbreakable plates, bowls and utensils for young kids can also double as picnic ware.
The adjoining dining area has space and comfy seating for five with use of a unique pull down table-addition that can be folded back up if not needed, and also used as additional desk/work space.
The living room has lots of seating to accommodate up to seven comfortably, and a 55 inch Smart TV for evening relaxing after a day of Phoenix activities. Standing and table lamps allow for guests to adjust the amount of light in the room, and a ceiling fan with lights helps bring in a breeze if it's not warm enough for the AC. A hall closet allows guests to hang up their outer wear, stash kids toys or pet items, and easily access an iron and ironing board.
The bathroom has a full sized tub with shower, large mirrored medicine cabinet, and a bathroom cart to store your extra items. A bamboo mat plus cotton bath mat to place over it is provided, as is premium natural foaming hand wash. If you forgot your own or prefer not to bring them, we have most grooming items under the bathroom sink (blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, shaver, etc.)
The laundry room has a stacked washer and dryer and detergent provided for your use, drying rack for your delicates, and laundry basket. Each bedroom has a cute, breathable natural hamper to collect your clothes to wash. A kitchen cart doubles as a laundry cart, with wheels to move it as needed between the two adjoining rooms.
The front covered porch has outdoor chairs and cafe table where guests can enjoy morning coffee or an evening drink while catching a glimpse of the wonderful Phoenix sunsets. A swinging macrame chair is a hit with kids and adults alike. The adjoining fenced front yard is equipped with a swing set and a dart board. It's a great place also to set up the full size corn hole game or golf putting game we provide.
The private, fenced back yard has a seating area shaded by a pergola to create an outdoor living room oasis. A misting system and oscillating fan cools guests in high temps, and in the evening, solar hanging lights make for a lovely ambience. A propane bbq grill and provided tools make this a perfect place for those who enjoy cooking outdoors. A baby mango tree we planted will one day provide additional shade and some fruit for our guests. Also in the back yard is an awesome amenity for our little guests - a convertible Range Rover electric ride-on vehicle!
Fun times with family and friends can be spent playing corn hole, darts, Jenga, Taboo, Pictionary, Twister, Scrabble. Kids can enjoy a light up dance mat game, hair salon mannequin, tic tac toe game, ride-on electric car, and more. Books for kids and adults focusing on Arizona's flora and fauna, culture and fun things to do in the area are stashed throughout the house.
Pets are welcome and pet bowls, cat toys and scratching pads, and other various pet items are provided for our furry guests.

Pets are welcome with an additional $50 per stay or per week fee, just to cover extra cleaning.
To be kind to our earth and future generations, we take opportunities to reduce chemicals, and aim toward a "zero waste" (less waste) experience in our space. This includes buying TP and paper towels made from recycled paper, keeping extra bags handy for reuse, minimizing plastics, use of more eco-friendly detergent, and skipping the chemical-laden softener in favor of dryer balls.
Note that for safety and security reasons, there are two cameras outside at each entrance to the house.
Please no smoking of any substance anywhere in the house or near doors or windows. A surcharge to cover washing/cleaning all fabric items in the house (couch cushions, curtains, rugs, etc) and renting and running an ozone machine to neutralize the odor will be assessed through airbnb to your payment method if not followed. Any upcoming reservations that must be canceled due to the additional cleaning will also be charged.
This property cannot be used for purposes identified in the City of Phoenix Ordinance Section 10-195(c). The City of Phoenix Short Term Rental Operating Permit for this property is STR-2024-000686.
