In the picturesque Quinta Santa Ana, close to the historic Barrio Alberdi and Nuevocentro Shopping, and 1 km from Centro de Córdoba, La Casa del Ceibo is located. We couldn't call it any other way, given the majesty of the tree that lives here. Co-hosted by Aníbal (from Córdoba, Alberdi) and Raquel (from Ceará, Brazil), in 2024 it ceased to be our home. This year we experienced a period in Brazil, leaving the house and the guests in the care of Sebastián (and his son Oli), the co-host landlord.
The space
We believe that we are in a privileged place: the house is located in a very nice neighborhood, without tall buildings, and with leafy trees in its streets. A kind of oasis near downtown. In turn, this house has a particular mystique, inspired by who we say is the "owner of the house": the Ceibo tree, which looks splendid in the house's internal garden.
The room is cozy, with a window facing the patio and a view of the garden, from where you can see the Ceibo tree. It has a single bed, shelf, chest of drawers, mirror, and desk with chair for working.
Guest access
This is one of two outdoor rooms we offer for our guests, who share the outdoor bathroom. In addition, they also share with guests in two other rooms in the internal sector, with invited volunteers who exchange stay for collaboration and/or with whom we host: the living room (with home, 55"4K Smart TV with Claro TV service, connected to an audio system, and with HDMI to be able to connect to a computer), the dining room (which also functions as a work area), the kitchen, the laundry room, a smaller garden in front of the house, and a larger one in the back, which in turn has a pool, barbecue and "the zen corner" (a space conducive to meditation).
During your stay
Since we are mainly dedicated to this activity, we are used to being attentive and willing to meet the requirements of those we host, both in La Casa del Ceibo and in other spaces that we also manage and offer for temporary accommodation. While we feel that what sets us apart is our ability to provide private time and space, we also value, without forcing them, moments of encounter, mutual connection, and sharing.
So we frequently walk around the house to attend to your requirements and those of our guests, seeking to do so carefully and respectfully.

Our idea is to offer a space to those who come to Córdoba looking to connect with something that is happening in "La Docta" (a nickname given to our city because of its identity strongly linked to the acquisition of knowledge through study). We trust that the search for Knowledge will make it possible to connect with the transcendental. Our intention is to provide more than a hostel, a setting that fosters learning and transcendental connections, typical of travel and of those of us who travel.
