The space
Cast Away Lodge is equipped with high speed internet and also satellite TV. Should you wish additional activities such as salmon fishing, canoeing, river tubing, snowshoeing, walking trails, ATV/snowmobile trail etc. just ask....we can help.

Cast Away Lodge has 3-bedrooms (1-Queen, 2-twin, and 1-double). There is also a La-Z-Boy pull-out sofa with extra linens stored if needed.

We have installed a new hot tub which will be running as of Tuesday July 9, 2024. Note- We are in the process of I stalling, completing landscaping and renovations, etc. but will have it accessible and guests will be able to use and enjoy it.

"Cast Away Lodge" is part of Cast Away Vacation Rentals. "Cast Away Grand Lodge" is located just next door if you should need additional accommodations. Both the Lodge and Grand Lodge share the river access.

Cast Away is secluded but you are only minutes away from the Village of Blackville where you will find a grocery store, liquor store, hardware store, post office, and pharmacy in addition to a number of restaurants.

The City of Miramichi is a short 30 minute drive.

Blackville Municipal Park features enchanting walking trails, a playground, picnic area, boat launch, splash pad, pavilion and an observation deck.

Outdoor enthusiasts will be happy to know Cast Away is just minutes away from a dedicated ATV and Snowmobile trail. You can even walk-it, bike-it, or hike-it.

You will have access to fishing guides and a private salmon pool (additional fees apply) if you would like to try your hand at fly fishing.

Hi….I’m Beth. I’m a “military brat” who lived and travelled all over the world growing up. Many of my summers were spent on the Mighty Miramichi, where my mom and generations before her were born. I loved spending time with my Grandparents here, and have many fond memories of these New Brunswick summers. My Uncle and Aunt recently moved back to the Miramichi and ventured into the vacation rental business. They opened up Cast Away Vacation rentals in May of 2020 and have thoroughly enjoyed helping guests create special and memorable vacations on the beautiful Miramichi River. My husband Mike and I (with our three children) have decided to jump on board with the intent to carry on creating these exciting experiences for guests at the Lodge and at our newest property the Grand Lodge. We are pleased and proud to be assuming the reins of Cast Away Vacation Rentals in September of 2022. We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends very soon!!! ~Beth and Mike
