Light, airy, clean, cozy, well-equipped, and centrally located in the Mambiche neighborhood of Isabel II on Puerto Rico's island of Vieques, also known as Isla Nena.

When you are not out exploring Vieques sit in the shade of the private back balcony and enjoy views of the Atlantic Ocean and Culebra during the day...in the evening sip a drink and listen to the resident coqui's song as The Fort Conde de Mirasol Museum is lit up for the night.

The space
Comfortable queen sized bed with plenty of pillows in the bedroom. Long couch in living area to sleep a third person. USB plug in and wireless charger located on nightstands.

Laundry area with plenty of storage for clothes and luggage located just off of the bedroom. Detergent pods provided.

Bathroom with walk in shower located off of bedroom. Bathroom has a mirror over the sink and a full length mirror on the door. Enjoy a hot or cool shower! Towels, body soap, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, and body lotion are provided.

There is no television set in the casita but wifi is provided to connect your phone or laptop for access to your favorite shows. The kitchen table is small but adequate to set up a work space if desired.

You will have access to use of a fully equipped kitchen with, stove, oven, microwave, keurig coffee maker, full size refrigerator with freezer, and all the gadgets needed to make meals, snacks, or drinks at home.

The terraced garden is a work in progress. Please gently enjoy the beautiful flowers and scents that it produces.

2 beach chairs, coolers, ice packs, and beach towels are available to get your beach days started!

This property is only accessible down a flight of stairs that may be difficult for those with mobility issues to navigate. For this reason small children are also not allowed for safety concerns.

Guest access
There are a few locked storage trunks containing the owner's personal items, otherwise the entire home and property will be available for use during your stay.

Other things to note
Check out is 10 am. The key will be located in a combination lock box on the gate so check in time can be somewhat flexible. Check in prior to 3pm can be available depending availability.

Vieques, Puerto Rico

This home is located in a quiet hillside neighborhood consisting of a blend of family homes, snowbirds, full time residents, and other short term stay homes. There is not a lot of traffic noise, but just like all of Vieques...be prepared for the roosters!
Seaglass beach is a 10 minute walk away and the ferry terminal is 15- 20 minutes away on foot. There are 2 grocery stores that are 5 minutes away when walking. Bars, restaurants, shops and post office are a 5- 10 minute walk.
This magical little neighborhood is located up a short, yet steep hill...thus the amazing views!
