Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Casa Razas III is a two bedroom, one bath, 2nd floor apartment located in an intimate courtyard behind our flagship space: Casa Razas. This newly renovated space welcomes you with A/C throughout, large smart TV, complete kitchen, custom made wood furniture, and on-demand hot water in the shower. Each bedroom has floor to ceiling closets, so you can unpack everything and tuck your suitcases away. Be prepared to enjoy the Pura Vida life of Limón.
The space
Approximately 3-4 hours drive from the Juan Santa Maria Airport in San Jose, Limón is located on the Atlantic coast of the country. A Caribbean town about three blocks from the sea; you’ll quickly find yourself transported by the Pura Vida Vibes.
Just beyond the black gate at our flagship location: Casa Razas, is the relaxing two bedroom unit located on the second floor of the house. Enter into the livingroom which contains a custom made sofa, perfect for the whole group to get cozy. Continue on to our fully loaded kitchen with full-size electric range, and a fridge big enough to handle a grocery list. Inside the cabinets we have neatly tucked away the microwave, coffee maker and additional kitchen items, including your dishes and eating utensils. Continue on to the two bedrooms with full size closets and a shared bathroom. Each room has its own temperature control for the A/C and the shower has on-demand hot water. Just give it a minute to run when it’s your first use. Feel free to access any of your streaming accounts on the 55” smart TV, or take in a meal in our shared (with the unit below) courtyard lounge/dining area. Choose your chill - it’s up to you!

Guests have use of the entire 2 bedroom apartment and shared access to the lounge in the courtyard. The downstairs, 1 bedroom apartment and the downstairs unit in the front building also have access to the lounge.

LOCATION:
Limón is located 3-4 hours away from the (SJO) Juan Santamaria International Airport. You can also skip the drive and take a 40 minute domestic flight directly to Limón and take a 15 minute taxi ride to the house. The Casa Razas vacation rentals are located in a typical Limón neighborhood. We are not located in a tourist zone. We are approximately 1-1.5 hours from Cahuita and Puerto Viejo - the two most frequented areas in the province.

This is a smoke-free environment. No smoking of any kind (including vaping) is allowed in or on the property - including the courtyard.

Jamaica Town, aptly named after the Jamaican migrants that helped build Costa Rica’s railroad and later settled the area; is a typical Costa Rican neighborhood and a seaside town, minutes to Limón’s downtown area. You can find a quick Caribbean bite to eat right at the corner at Bana Restaurante, take a ten minute walk to town and find your pick of cuisines, or take a quick 7-minute drive to “Bay Park”; a food court filled with several mini restaurants and even a zip line that shoots over the park for kids to enjoy. And just a few steps away is Bambú Chill Zone & Bar (same owner) which comes complete with swimming pool and chaise lounges for a good chill day. Two more minutes and you’ll arrive at Playa Bonita, the local beach and Reina’s the beachfront restaurant where you can enjoy a great meal right in front of the ocean. Need more options? We are Arrie and Tanya - two retired New Yorkers with family ties in Costa Rica. We look forward to sharing these “Pura Vida” vibes with you here at our family’s vacation rental suites: Casa Razas, CR II, CR III, CR IV (in Limón) and newly added “Zapote Zen” in Zapote, San Jose. Previously our Dad’s restaurant - lovingly named “Razas” embracing ALL people; we kept the name and the sentiment to honor our Dad and continue his legacy of loving on people through hospitality.
