Laki Minguillo was a very down-to-earth grandfather, public figure, a baker of kakanins and a farmer who wanted to surround his home with different garden flowers, plants and fruit trees. Today those trees continue to nourish his children and grandchildren as they pay tribute to him and his ancestral home by calling it ‘Casa Minguillo’.

Do you love minimalist, clean and open interiors? Feel the simplicity of a Japanese style home and experience serene living. Experience a clean, uncluttered living with simplistic yet aesthetic designs, from hanging doors to sunken dining table. The exteriors also mimic Japanese lifestyle. As you walk into the huge, red Torri Gate, you surround yourself with japanese culture and architecture. Enjoy calming picturesque views and relaxing ambience, as you have access to the peaceful, relaxing gardens from various sections on our property. We’re surrounded by trees and lush green rice fields. There are various hammocks under the shades of the fruit trees where you can relax and enjoy the breeze coming from the rice fields and sleep to the chirping sounds of the birds. To sum it up with one word: Zen

Casa Minguillo offers a unique experience of staying in a traditional Japanese house. The house is original japanese design and interiors are cozy and homely. This charming home creates a soothing ambience that is perfect for some R&R. The rooms combine a quaint decor with all the modern amenities like high speed internet, mini fridge, microwave, flat screen tv, rain shower heads, hairdryer and of course for the delights of travellers, our state-of-the-art karaoke system in our KTV room, one of the simplest pleasures enjoyed in Japan and all over the globe.

Our unique landmark is the big, red Torri Gate with Casa Minguillo signage. You can find it on Google. We are just a few minutes drive from the town proper. We are located near many destinations like Hundred Islands, Lingayen Gulf and Mapita Falls & Viewdeck. Mapita is where tourists get to see the beauty of Pangasinan from a mountaintop. From here you can see the shore line of San Fabian to Lingayen Gulf, the mountains of Pangasinan and Zambales. Mapita Falls is one of 12 lagoons where water from the mountains stream down to one waterfall leading to another
