Wake up to lake views, walk down to 105 feet of private sandy beach, and let the kids run. Our fully remodeled 4-bed, 2.5-bath lakehouse on Big Twin Lake is built for family weeks together — clear sandy-bottom swimming, a private dock, kayaks, a beach-side gazebo, and a wood firepit at the water’s edge for s’mores. Sleeps 11 across 7 beds. 2 hours from Chicago.

The space
20-foot vaulted ceilings in the great room frame the lake from every angle — it’s the kind of view that makes you stop unpacking. Four bedrooms (7 beds, sleeps 11) and 2.5 baths give everyone their own corner. Kitchen is well equipped: gas stove, dishwasher, K-cup and regular coffee maker, wine glasses, and a microwave. Out back, a large deck with a gas grill and gas firepit overlooks the lake; a 10×12 beach-side gazebo gives you shade right at the water; and a wood firepit sits on the beach for evening fires under the stars.

Guest access
Everything inside the house is yours. At the water, you have 105 feet of private sandy frontage and your own dock — bring your boat to tie up, or rent locally and we’ll point you to the right place. Kayaks, beach chairs, and beach essentials are included. Self check-in via smart lock, so you can roll in late after the drive.

Other things to note
Sandy, gradual lake bottom is the reason families come back. Inside, we’ve got a pack ’n play, board games, and a 55” HDTV with a Roku (sign into your Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Prime). Fenceless backyard runs straight to the beach. The deck and gazebo give shade for nap-time-on-the-lake. We’ve hosted multi-generational stays, birthday weekends, and a few “first lake trip” toddlers — it works for all of them.

All-sports lake — water skiing, tubing, jet skis, and pontoons are all welcome. Bring your boat or rent from any of three operators within 15 minutes (we’ll send a link). EV charger (Level 2) on site.

Enjoy every season with nearby wineries, fruit picking, ski resorts, and a short trip to Notre Dame or Western Michigan (Swiss Valley Ski Area is ~15 min for winter.)

Note: home is on a residential lake — quiet hours after 10pm. No pets, please. Exterior video doorbell at the front door for delivery and check-in safety.
