Casa Domo Brasil is a geodesic structure that provides an incredible feeling of well-being and, since its construction, has had concepts related to the protection and conservation of the planet.

It has all the amenities of a conventional residence. Its 150 m² provide plenty of living space for up to 5 people.

In Cotia, 37 km from SP, it is perfect for those who want to have direct contact with nature, with the comfort of a modern home and still be close to shops and tourist attractions.

1. Our Story

Casa Domo Brasil was born from the desire of a family from São Paulo to provide calmer moments in nature for their daughter, who was on the way.

The goal was to create balance between the crazy city life during the week and slowing down to breathe fresh air on the weekends. This balance became perfect since the house is in Cotia, only 38 km from São Paulo.

Because of that, and unlike the “glamping” concept, Casa Domo Brasil was built with all the comforts of a conventional home. Its 150 m², including the deck, offer plenty of space for gatherings among friends or families of up to 5 people.

2. The Space

Our aim was to renew our connection with the earth, return to the essentials, pay attention to the minimum we need to be happy, and pass these lessons on to our daughter in practice.

That’s how we discovered the geodesic structure. It takes us away from conventional architecture and brings us back to the rounded shapes of the Earth’s earliest dwellings.

The feeling of well-being inside a geodesic dome is incredible. There is a theory that this sensation is linked to ancestral memories stored in our subconscious, reminding us of the comfort and protection we felt in our mothers’ wombs.

Both during construction and in the daily life of the house, we follow principles related to protection and conservation of the planet. We separate organic waste, compost, maintain a garden (under construction), and take actions to reduce waste—especially plastic.

During the building process, we realized that many people would like to share this experience, and here we are. Welcome to Casa Domo Brasil—come be a part of this journey.

3. The Surroundings

We are in a privileged region for those who want direct contact with nature, with the comfort of a modern home, and still close to shops and interesting attractions.

Within less than 10 km, we have great restaurants, many bike trails, Tennis Revolution Arena, small farms for children (Pet Zoo / Bicho Mania), Animalia Park (zoo and amusement park), and Thermas da Mata (water park). Right next to us is Kober Equus, offering horseback riding and equine therapy.

Approximately 30 minutes away by car you will find the Zulai Temple, Mini Fazenda Nose, Cemucam Park, Centaurus Shooting Academy, Arvorismo Gigantus, and The Square Open Mall (which also has tree-climbing activities for kids).

For those interested, within 40 minutes there are more activities to enjoy in Cotia, as well as the chance to visit nearby tourist towns like São Roque and Embu das Artes.

4. Access

Access to Casa Domo Brasil is easy. After leaving the paved road, there are 2 km of well-maintained dirt road. The route can be done with a private car or Uber. We have parking with a private entrance. When you arrive, you will see a container tiny house that is under construction.

The house offers several attractions. “This kitchen is an invitation for everyone to gather,” commented one of our guests, highlighting the spaciousness and connection the kitchen provides.

Continuing the open feel, we also have a loft-style bedroom and an open-concept living room.

On cold nights in Cotia, the wood-burning heater brings extra coziness to the living room, warming the entire space, and the outdoor fire bowl is an invitation to enjoy moments with friends.

For immersion-bath lovers, the house offers two options: an indoor bathtub with forest views and a wooden ofuro tub on the outdoor deck.

Also outside, we have a ground fire pit, offering experiences both day and night.
