This large, colorful apartment is a great place to enjoy downtown Puerto Viejo. Located just two blocks from the beach at Salsa Brava, this apartment is a great space to enjoy all the town has to offer.

One bedroom features a queen bed, the second bedroom features a full bed. There is plenty of seating and space for working, cooking, hanging out. There is a private balcony as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

We have parking onsite, Starlink internet, a beautiful garden to enjoy many birds.

The space
Apt. #2 of Casa Cumbia blends traditional Caribbean architecture with a modern spin, providing a comfortable yet stylish space. The house is equipped with everything you need to truly relax and enjoy your time in the Caribbean.

The apartment features two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a double. There are 2 twin beds in the living room area making this apartment a great spot for groups traveling together.

The kitchen is fully equipped for enjoying some meals. We are located within walking distance of 3 grocery stores and a weekly Saturday Farmer's Market. The property features a very large garden space with plenty of birds and butterflies to feel immersed in nature despite being in the center of town. Enjoy the natural setting from the private balcony.

The apartment can sleep up to 6 people. For larger groups, please message us about booking Apt. #3 of Casa Cumbia as well to accommodate up to 12 people in total.

It's a remote area, the power goes out, the wifi goes out, and sometimes the water as well. It is a magical place but it is not for everyone.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire second story apartment to themselves. They will also have access to the parking area and the gardens.

Other things to note
Puerto Viejo is a place for travelers and can seem more rugged and rougher around the edges. Here there are bugs, animals, rain storms, the power can go out and we can lose water and wifi. We invited you to embrace and maybe even all in love with the wild side.

It is a magical place but it is not for everyone. Please keep that in mind during your stay and keep an open mind.
