4 mins walk to the nearest beach, this 3-bed village house is in the charming fishing port of L'Escala. This is authentic Catalan life: stroll around the Port, dine barefoot at an unpretentious beach bar or potter about the dinky shops. At home, soak up the views from your little rooftop pool. Up for more? Walk to the Greco Roman ruins of Empuries, visit Salvador Dali's birthplace/museum in nearby Figures, or take a boat trip to Cadaqués, another picture-perfect port along the coast.

The space
A fisherman's house recently converted by a well-known Catalan architect, the property is set over three floors, with the bedrooms on the lower, cooler floors (helpful in summer!) and the living spaces on the bright and sunny top two floors. Three double bedrooms each have an ensuite shower room. There are also two separate toilets. The house benefits from heating for the colder months and air conditioning for the summertime. Guest access
Everything you need is nearby and reachable on foot. But if you do have a car, parking is available on-street 20m behind the house (between mid June and mid September this is paid-parking). There is also a public parking near the beach that is 15 mins walk from the house, and is free.

Other things to note
The house spreads over 3 floors plus the pool terrace on the roof (so sadly, not suitable for those with mobility issues, or younger children).
