This custom-designed Villa is a tropical retreat idyllically located on the breathtaking coast of the Caribbean ocean. From panoramic ocean views to the Amazing Private 46' Resort Swimming Pool, Casablanca Villa is the perfect place for you to experience nearby beaches, waterfalls, hiking, fishing, golf, tennis, as well as local culture and cuisine. Tours of Old San Juan, El Yunque rain forest, bioluminescent bay, dinner cruises, charter boat excursions, and more are just minutes away.

* Gorgeous hilltop location on 1 1/2 acres of tropical lushness. Overlooks the Caribbean Ocean, Humacao River mouth, east peak of Yunque, and a splendid tropical forest with hiking and 4wd trails to seaside cliffs.

*The huge 46ftX24ft resort-style pool is private. For your health and safety, you and your group will be the only guests at the Villa and property during your stay.

* Horseback riding on the beach and lush coastal hills available less than a mile away.

* World famous El Yunque National Park, with the only tropical rainforest on United States territory can be seen from Casablanca del Mar Retreat. Excursions to El Yunque can be arranged for hiking to the peak and viewing the numerous waterfalls and scenic views all the way down to the coast. Host David is trained geologist and cruise ship naturalist and will lead you on gorgeous hikes on East Side of Island including Yunque "from the back side".

* Drive along the gorgeous Caribbean cliff-side Yabacoa scenic road studded with small restaurants and Chinchorros (snack shops) clinging to the rocks hundreds of feet above the waves. You'll have a chance to enjoy a cool dip in the many hidden pocket-beaches along the way.

* 39 miles to San Juan's (SJU) international airport with nearly 100% multi-lane freeway driving.

* Outside is a covered picnic area and gas grill for BBQ and grilling.

Buena Vista, Humacao, Puerto Rico

* Casablanca BnB Retreat is located at the edge of the small historic coastal community where native Taino Indians met the early explorers at the time of Christopher Columbus. Later, Spanish owned rail lines once operated to bring valuable products from centuries old sugar cane plantations for export to the Old World. Spanish land grants from the King and Queen of Spain still outline property boundaries in this beautifully quaint and friendly part of the island.

* Beautiful Mount Hormiga is a peninsular promentory with spectacular views on 3 sides of the Humacao River terminus and Caribbean waves crashing onto the rocky coast - an easy-moderate 20 minute hike.

* Lush 'Secret' Beaches are located only a 10-15 minute walk away. These sandy beach are often empty and waiting for you to enjoy.

* 5 minute walk to a cute-as-a button Chinchorro (beer and snack stand) to hang out and meet friendly Boricuas (local Puerto Ricans).

* Large Ralph's and Econono supermarkets and a Walmart SuperStore l0-15 minutes away in Humacao. Costco and Sam's Club about half an hour away in Caguas. We offer a personal shopping service for groceries. Give us a list and you arrive to a refrigerator stocked with your favorite items. Great if you are tired from a trough travel day or get in late after the stores are closed. Only $30 a supermarket trip.

* As a U.S. Territory, Puerto Rico has a special blend of Spanish, Indian, and African cultural influences with modern conveniences such as Walmart, Home Depot, and fast food restaurants a 10 minute drive away.

Casablanca del Mar BnB Retreat was developed with an architect's eye for ensuring that the structures blend into the breathtaking natural surrounding environment while maximizing the opportunities for fun, peaceful contemplation, relaxation, and adventure. I strive to provide a positive, unique and memorable experience for all our guests. I'm a native of snowy Ohio who fell in love with the warm Caribbean and, especially, Puerto Rico. I'm a retired geologist who travelled the world in frontier exploration who became fascinated by the gorgeous terrain and spectacular origin story of this enchanted island. I've also worked as a cruise ship naturalist in Alaska and am learning about the very different and even more spectacular tropical ecosystem of PR.
