The space
Casa Utila was designed to pause, breathe, and gather. We are a half-Dutch, half-Salvadoran family that has lived and traveled across the world. Collecting pieces from Holland, El Salvador, Mexico, Vietnam, Chile, Peru, and Bolivia, to name a few. We have curated the space with a playful mix of vintage and artisan-made heirlooms that we hope you enjoy as we do.
Creative yet cozy, the house offers 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths, including one private detached bedroom in the garden for extra privacy.

Guest access
The whole house is available to you except for 2 locked rooms in the gardens of the property + a locked dresser in the primary bedroom closet, for personal storage + cleaning supplies. We kindly ask you to respect it.
Other things to note
❗ MOSQUITO ALERT ❗
We’re in a tropical climate, and mosquitoes are more active during the rainy season.
- We provide bug repellent spray and plug-in mosquito plaques. Please unplug them when not in use.
- All bedroom windows have mosquito screens.
- Some common areas also have screens for extra comfort.
Tip: close doors quickly at dusk and consider light long sleeves outdoors.
