Picinguaba provides access to Ilha das Couves and other uniquely beautiful islands on the northern coast of São Paulo. It is close to Paraty (30 km). The region is perfect for diving and water sports.

During rains or due to small animals in the Forest Reserve, the collection pipes may come loose, causing a temporary water shortage. Picinguaba Beach is located in a small fishing village within the Serra do Mar State Park. It offers excellent waters for fishing, diving, rowing (kayaking) and boating on beautiful islands, including the Island of Couves. Neighboring beaches offer good surf waves. The forest park has beautiful trails and waterfalls. In the city of Ubatuba it is possible to visit the city's Aquarium with sharks, penguins and a children's area with sea stars, supervised by biologists. There is also in the city one of the headquarters of the Tamar Project where it is possible to appreciate different species of turtles. You will also have in Ubatuba, shopping malls and boardwalk.
