Set on 17 private acres of high-desert beauty just 6 minutes from Canyon Road and 8 minutes from the historic Santa Fe Plaza, CASA DE ICE is a luxury adobe estate built for connection, restoration, and unforgettable memories.
Because we’ve been there too—cramming into bland hotel rooms, bumping elbows in crowded rentals, and feeling trapped in spaces that were never designed for actual rest.
Santa Fe is too magical for a vacation that’s just “fine.” You deserve and need more.
We have a large family, which is why we designed the space to be the perfect retreat and refuge where everyone can fit under one roof.
ROOM TO SPREAD OUT :
• Five spacious king bedrooms for ultimate privacy.
• One bunk room with four twin beds, perfect for kids or additional guests
• Four fully renovated bathrooms with curated details
• 3 of the king bedrooms are suites and have their own bathrooms. The other 2 king bedrooms share the hall bath with the bunkroom.
• Sleeps up to 12 Adults plus children comfortably (Santa Fe County occupancy limit)
• Two separate living areas, ideal for spreading out or having space to gather
• Bonus kitchenette on the far side of the home for added flexibility
• Authentic adobe construction with thick walls, flagstone + brick floors, rustic vigas and latillas
• Brand-new HVAC system for year-round comfort
We can sleep 14 comfortably, but our occupancy (set by Santa Fe County) is 12 adults + small children. We do not permit any more than that number.

BEDS / SLEEPING
Sleeping 14 involves 2 people / bed (we have 5 king beds = 10 people), and 4 twin bunk beds.
The bunk beds are twin size and sturdy custom built ins.
3 of the King Bedrooms are Suites with their own private bathroom.
The other 2 King Bedrooms and the Bunk Room share 1 Hallway Bathroom.
HVAC + HEATING & COOLING
Casa De Ice features forced air HVAC in the Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, and hallway bunk bed and king bedrooms.
The other parts of the house are conditioned with mini-splits that provide both heating and cooling. Extra heating in bathrooms is provided by electric baseboard heating.
WOOD
We provide one stack of firewood for our guests to use for their stay. Additional firewood can be purchased by guests at local stores.
PARKING
There is a large gravel parking area that can accommodate 3-4 cars and will allow you plenty of room to turn around.
TVs
At Casa de Ice, you’ll find just 2 TV's, located in the game room and also 2nd living room, perfect family movie nights and gathering with friends. We’ve intentionally limited the number of TV's to foster meaningful connections, encourage unplugged moments, and help you fully embrace the peaceful magic of this home. Here, it’s all about great conversations, playing games, reading, and making memories with your loved ones.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE
Casa de Ice is an older property brick and flagstone floors and few small steps and out, as well as a gravel driveway and pathways. There are several steps up and down to get into the living room, game room, etc. Much of the outdoor space features natural terrain including gravel and flagstone, which adds to the rustic charm and connection to the Santa Fe landscape. However, this may make the property less suitable for guests who have difficulty navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, or gravel. We encourage you to consider these details when planning your stay to ensure the experience is a perfect fit for you.
NOISE
Please be mindful of loud noises outside.
Because the area is so quiet, sound will travel and easily disturbs neighbors. We ask that you would be respectful and help us continue to be great neighbors to our community.
We have outdoor quiet hours between 10pm - 7:00am. Please wrap up fire pit usage by 10:30pm.
EVENTS
The home is not to be used for events, unless they are for 14 or less people and have been approved by management prior to booking the residence.
COFFEE
The house is equipped with a coffee maker that does K Cups AND a full pot of coffee. We provide K Cups, but guests will need to provide their own coffee for the pot. We have a coffee bean grinder and a french press.
GROCERIES
Both Whole Foods (Through Amazon) and Sprouts will deliver groceries to the house.
