Because we’ve been there too—cramming into bland hotel rooms, bumping elbows in crowded rentals, and feeling trapped in spaces that were never designed for actual rest.

We have a large family, which is why we designed the space to be the perfect retreat and refuge where everyone can fit under one roof.

We can sleep 14 comfortably, but our occupancy (set by Santa Fe County) is 12 adults + small children. We do not permit any more than that number.

BEDS / SLEEPING
Sleeping 14 involves 2 people / bed (we have 5 king beds = 10 people), and 4 twin bunk beds.
The bunk beds are twin size and sturdy custom built ins.
HVAC + HEATING & COOLING
Casa De Ice features minisplit HVAC units in the Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, and King Suites. The mini-splits provide both heating and cooling.
The bunk room and hall king feature electric baseboard heating. They are all equipped with fans and windows can be opened for cooling and airflow.
We also provide a few extra stand alone plug in heaters, if you need some additional heat in a bathroom or sunroom.
WOOD
We provide one stack of firewood for our guests to use for their stay. Additional firewood can be purchased by guests at local stores.
PARKING
There is a large gravel parking area that can accommodate 3-4 cars and will allow you plenty of room to turn around.
TVs
At Casa de Ice, you’ll find just 2 TV's, located in the game room and also 2nd living room, perfect family movie nights and gathering with friends. We’ve intentionally limited the number of TV's to foster meaningful connections, encourage unplugged moments, and help you fully embrace the peaceful magic of this home. Here, it’s all about great conversations, playing games, reading, and making memories with your loved ones.
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE
Casa de Ice is an older property brick and flagstone floors and few small steps and out, as well as a gravel driveway and pathways. Much of the outdoor space features natural terrain, which adds to the rustic charm and connection to the Santa Fe landscape. However, this may make the property less suitable for guests who have difficulty navigating stairs, uneven surfaces, or gravel. We encourage you to consider these details when planning your stay to ensure the experience is a perfect fit for you.
NOISE
Please be mindful of loud noises outside.
Because the area is so quiet, sound will travel in the back arroyo and easily disturbs neighbors. We ask that you would be respectful and help us continue to be great neighbors to our community.
We have outdoor quiet hours between 10pm - 7:00am. Please wrap up fire pit usage by 10:30pm.
EVENTS
The home is not to be used for events, unless they are for 14 or less people and have been approved by management prior to booking the residence.
