Bring family and friends to the 3,400 square foot Captain's Chalet! We're located in Schuss Mountain Village in the Shanty Creek resort up north. It's your lakeside summer getaway, snowy winter ski retreat, and a golfer’s sun-drenched paradise. Ask about our free early checkin/out!
Located five minutes from Schuss mountain, world class golf courses, and Lake Bellaire with private beach club access. Fifteen minutes from Torch Lake, it's a home nestled in the woods you can enjoy all year round.
The space
BEDROOMS:
We have four bedrooms, an open den, and a huge bonus room with massive sleeper sofa.
We can accommodate 16 guests, but *not* 16 adults. Take a look at the sleeping arrangements:
* Primary bedroom (main level): King bed and pack n play for babies.
* 2nd bedroom (main level): Queen bed
* 3rd bedroom (main level): Queen bed
* Den (main level): queen air mattress (you can find it in the closet downstairs in the 4th bedroom)
* 4th bedroom (downstairs): 2 bunkbeds with trundles (twins on top, fulls on bottom and twin trundles) and 1 extra full bed.
* Bonus room (downstairs): Sleeper sectional sofa
BONUS ROOM:
ping-pong table, pool table, arcade game, and a bar area with stools.
BATHROOMS:
3 full bathrooms. The primary en-suite bathroom on the main level has a separate jetted tub and shower. The second full bathroom is located between the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms on the main level. The third bathroom is downstairs next to the 4th bedroom.
INTERIOR AMENITIES:
washer/dryer, mudroom with ski boot racks, fireplace between the den and living room, a fully-stocked kitchen, board games, cards, barware, all interior linens, extra blankets, shampoo, conditioner and soap for bathrooms, kitchen soap and dishwasher soap, laundry tablets and hot tub towels.
EXTERIOR AMENITIES:
large deck with a 7-person hot tub, gas Weber grill, seating area, and a firepit for roasting marshmallows and telling campfire stories!
BEACH ACCESS:
We offer private access to Lake Bellaire via the Bellaire Beach Club! When you book with us, we give you a free pass that gets you into the pickleball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, lawn games, covered picnic areas with grills, and sandy beachfront on Lake Bellaire! This is a major amenity that will entertain everyone from small kids to teenagers to seniors!
