Amendment at the end of December 2022: For a few days, three small removable electric radiators have been present. They help maintain a certain level of comfort.
Winter is slowly approaching, despite the current beautiful temperatures, the cold can quickly arrive!
...I would like to point out that this house is only heated with wood. You will find a wood-burning stove on the ground floor and a wood-burning stove in the living room.
If the temperatures require it, they will be lit and operational on the day of your arrival. I'll take care of lighting the fire before you check in.
Wood will be at your disposal.
As in the past, the fire will have to be maintained and re-stoked upon waking...
Early mornings can be cool in winter, a good sweater and nice slippers will always be welcome!
You will be the actor and director of your comfort.
Beautiful duvets await you... but feel free to bring several layers with you depending on the weather.
However, the house quickly rises in temperature once the wood stove and stove are lit.
In addition, there is a small electric fan in the bathroom... ;)

NEWS:
The mythical Cajarc bridge that spans the Lot and is closed to road traffic.
However, it is still possible to make the crossing on foot or by bike every day of the week! ;)
"The suspension bridge of Cajarc will undergo a major restoration operation which aims to replace the 320 caissons of its deck; the previous repair of this type took place in 1963."
(Source: Actulot)
Work will take place between Monday, September 26 and Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Traffic will be interrupted on weekdays, from Monday at 8 a.m. to Friday at 5 p.m., with the structure reopening every weekend.
To cross the Lot with a vehicle on weekdays, you will need to take the second bridge located west of Cajarc on the D19 departmental road.
